To ensu­re you are always safe on the road, we have taken out tra­vel insu­rance with our relia­ble part­ner ERGO Rei­se­ver­si­che­rung (ERGO Rei­se­ver­si­che­rung AG) for your cycling or hiking trip within Euro­pe. This pro­tects you from high cos­ts in an emer­gen­cy. By boo­king your trip, you auto­ma­ti­cal­ly beco­me an insu­red per­son. The insu­rance pre­mi­um is alre­a­dy included in our tour price.


Acci­dent pro­tec­tion incl. res­cue services 

Do you need to be sear­ched for, res­cued or reco­ver­ed due to an acci­dent? ERGO Rei­se­ver­si­che­rung will reim­bur­se the cos­ts for this up to €10,000.

Do you have an acci­dent during your trip that leads to your death or per­ma­nent disa­bi­li­ty? ERGO Rei­se­ver­si­che­rung sup­ports you or your legal suc­ces­sors with the agreed assis­tance and finan­cial bene­fits (insu­rance sum €25,000 for death and up to €50,000 for disability). 


Bicy­cle pro­tec­tion in case of break­down or theft
Do you have a break­down or an acci­dent with the bicy­cle you are using on the trip?

ERGO Rei­se­ver­si­che­rung covers repair cos­ts up to €150 or addi­tio­nal cos­ts for the jour­ney to the start­ing point or desti­na­ti­on of the day’s stage up to €150 per insu­red event.

Was your bike sto­len? ERGO Rei­se­ver­si­che­rung will eit­her cover the addi­tio­nal cos­ts for the return jour­ney to your place of resi­dence or the return/onward jour­ney to the start­ing point or desti­na­ti­on of your day’s stage up to €250 per insu­red event.
