Who is the Adi­ge cycle path sui­ta­ble for?

The cycle path is ide­al for beg­in­ners to cycling and fami­lies. From the Reschen Pass on the Aus­tri­an-Ita­li­an bor­der, the rou­te des­cends gent­ly towards the Adria­tic Sea. The cycle path is excel­lent­ly deve­lo­ped and paved and leads past many places whe­re you can rest, stop for refresh­ments and of cour­se stay over­night. The cycle path is the­r­e­fo­re ide­al for beg­in­ner cyclists and fami­lies with child­ren who are less fit but still want to be acti­ve on their bikes. 

Direc­tions for the Adi­ge cycle path:

The capi­tal of the Alps is your start­ing point for the cycle tour to Vero­na. You start in Inns­bruck and fol­low the Adi­ge Cycle Path from Lan­deck, which takes you over the Reschen Pass to Mer­ano in the Ita­li­an Vinsch­gau Val­ley. From Mer­ano, the Adi­ge Cycle Path runs along the Adi­ge river and takes you via Bol­za­no and Tren­to to Vero­na. Enjoy a sceni­cal­ly breath­ta­king cycle tour on a very well-deve­lo­ped cycle path with easy stages. 

Alter­na­tively, you can also cycle from Nau­ders to Vero­na. In the Reschen­pass vaca­ti­on regi­on, in the “bor­der town” of Nau­ders, you start your cycle tour in the moun­ta­ins of Tyrol. After just a few kilo­me­ters you reach the bor­der with Ita­ly and will quick­ly feel the cozy flair of South Tyrol. Explo­re the Ven­os­ta Val­ley regi­on with all your sen­ses, tas­te Ita­li­an wine, gather new impres­si­ons in the char­ming vil­la­ges and small towns, cool off in the accom­pany­ing Adi­ge River or in the lakes along the way — the cycle tours from Nau­ders to South Tyrol offer all this and many other scenic and cul­tu­ral highlights.
