Peak sea­son and ear­ly booking
For a worry-free bike trip across the Alps, the trails must be easi­ly rideable and free of snow and ice. The peak sea­son for cycling trips in the Alps is the­r­e­fo­re from July through Sep­tem­ber. Sin­ce the­re are only a limi­t­ed num­ber of good bike-fri­end­ly hotels whe­re not only you but also your bike will be well taken care of (e.g., with bike sto­rage, char­ging sta­ti­ons for e‑bikes, etc.), we recom­mend boo­king ear­ly. This way, you can secu­re your pre­fer­red dates and the best inns and hotels for a tho­rough­ly enjoya­ble Alpi­ne crossing.
