Alpi­ne crossing, Alps, hiking tour, Gar­misch, Meran

Start your crossing of the Alps in Gar­misch-Par­ten­kir­chen. Explo­re the beau­tiful town and enjoy a typi­cal Bava­ri­an din­ner. The next day, visit the impres­si­ve Part­nach­klamm gor­ge and later reach your desti­na­ti­on of Mit­ten­wald. The next day, the rou­te takes you across the bor­der into the magni­fi­cent moun­ta­ins of Tyrol.

After a restful night in Leu­t­asch, on the fourth day you hike through peaceful forests to the Buche­ner Höhe and des­cend into the Inn­tal val­ley. Your over­night stay after this stage is in Lan­deck. After a short trans­fer to the Reschen Pass and a cable car ride to the Mutz­kopf, your fifth day of hiking beg­ins. Today’s rou­te takes you to the bor­der tri­ang­le of Aus­tria, Ita­ly and Switz­er­land and on to the pic­tures­que Lake Reschen with its sun­ken church in South Tyrol.

The last two hiking days once again offer ple­nty of natu­re expe­ri­en­ces and culina­ry delights. You hike along varied hiking and irri­ga­ti­on chan­nel paths from Reschen to Naturns and end your trip on the last day in the spa town of Meran.
