The Ammer-Amper cycle path

+ More information

The long-distance cycle route is just over 200 km long and starts at the Ammer springs in the Graswang Valley, one of the most beautiful high valleys in the Bavarian Alps. Always along the Ammer, you make your way to the beautiful Ammersee. Numerous sights and idyllic river landscapes await you on the last section past the towns of Fürstenfeldbruck, Dachau and Freising before the Amper flows into the Isar in Moosburg. The advantage of this route is that the path runs in the direction of flow of the two rivers, so there is always a slight gradient to make cycling easier.
