Small guide to mountain bike tours

Touring through nature on a mountain bike is pure freedom. A very special experience that requires some strength and stamina. “Get in the saddle” is sometimes also the motto for families with children. Older children in particular appreciate this action-packed version of the “bike tour”. Our different route variants are suitable for beginners and advanced riders. For all those who want to fulfill their lifelong dream of crossing the Alps by mountain bike, we also offer a three-day preparatory training course. Our “Ladies only” tour, which offers two different ways of crossing the main Alpine ridge on the Trans-Alp route from Lake Tegernsee to Lake Garda, is aimed specifically at women. On this trip, the guided group can split up and everyone decides individually whether to continue across the Alps in a more comfortable or sporty way.

Selected mountain bike areas

Variety is at the forefront of our MTB tours. The Alpencross often involves several kilometers of downhill — pure adrenaline. On gravel roads and dreamy paths through the forest, for example, you can also ride through the Palatinate Forest. This tour also includes a day in the mountain bike park. There you can find your own individual trail to suit your mood. A challenge even for advanced riders and an exciting experience for beginners. Short and crisp forest trails also await you in the Salzkammergut, one of the most beautiful mountain biking regions in Austria. But don’t just enjoy the adrenaline — look forward to recharging your batteries with a hearty snack in an ostrich tavern. The French way of life and the dense forests of the Vosges await you on our Trans Vosges Tour.
