What could be bet­ter than the anti­ci­pa­ti­on of an upco­ming vaca­ti­on? Whe­ther it’s a hiking vaca­ti­on, crossing the Alps or a bike tour. To make it easier for you to prepa­re for your trip and pack your suit­ca­se, we have put tog­e­ther our tips and recom­men­da­ti­ons for you here, which are gua­ran­teed to ensu­re that you don’t for­get any­thing at home on your next acti­ve vacation. 

Hiking equip­ment list
  • Iden­ti­ty docu­ments (cross-bor­der iden­ti­ty card / passport)
  • Plea­se pack in day­pack (check-in tem­p­la­te at the hotel)
  • Cre­dit cards (cash > EC/CC pay­ment may be rest­ric­ted on tour)
  • Cell pho­ne and char­ger (power bank if neces­sa­ry)
    Tip: Save emer­gen­cy num­bers (112 and FuE emer­gen­cy num­ber) in advance
  • Hiking boots with a good tread sole (ank­le-high)
  • Teles­co­pic wal­king poles
  • Day­pack (approx. 20–35l volume)
  • Breat­ha­ble clot­hing adapt­ed to the wea­ther con­di­ti­ons, from socks to hats
  • Chan­ge of clo­thes on tour
  • Hiking pants (short / long / zip-off if necessary)
  • Sun­glas­ses and sun / insect repellent
  • Sun hat, visor cap (head­band, sweat­band if necessary)
  • Reusable drin­king bot­t­le or ruck­sack with inte­gra­ted drin­king system 
  • Food box or lunch box
  • First aid kit (whist­le for emer­gen­cy signal if necessary)
