To ensure optimal quality of service and smooth operation at an affordable price, most of our tours are based on a minimum number of participants, which is specified in the respective tour description.
The minimum number of participants does not need to be met per booking.
If this number is not reached, we will inform you at least 4 weeks before the tour starts about possible alternatives or cancellation (see also GTC: https://www.feuer-eis-touristik.de/agb).
During the online booking process, your dietary preferences will also be requested. We will forward this non-binding dietary request (vegetarian, vegan, lactose intolerance, etc.) to all hotels. Please note that additional costs may have to be paid directly on site.
For all individual and guided tours ‘including luggage transfer’, we conveniently transport your luggage from hotel to hotel.
You therefore hike only with a light daypack, and upon arrival at the next hotel, your suitcase will already be waiting for you (from 4:00 PM). When checking out of the hotel, please leave your luggage at the reception by 9:00 AM at the latest – our luggage transfer partner will then take it to your next accommodation.
For our tours, generally only 1 piece of luggage per person with a maximum of 20 kg is allowed. Should the luggage be heavier, we reserve the right to charge an additional fee.
We are happy to offer the option of booking the transport of additional luggage for an extra charge.

For insurance reasons, we cannot transport people with our luggage transfer service.
On some of our hiking trips, your four-legged friends are welcome. All tours that are possible with a dog are marked with a small paw print.
Yes, however, cancellation fees will apply according to our GTC, which are normally not reimbursed by travel cancellation insurance.
We also offer a “bad weather alternative” for some stages.
If a hike is not possible due to bad weather or snowfall, we recommend continuing to the next hotel by public transport.
We would be happy to book additional nights for you before or after the tour, provided the hotels still have availability.
As soon as you have booked the trip, our travel specialists will start booking the hotels.
To ensure optimal organization, we await individual hotel confirmations before sending you the booking confirmation. After booking your trip, you can therefore relax until you receive the booking confirmation within approximately two weeks.
For all our trips, you can choose whether you would like to pay by bank transfer or credit card.
Credit card payments are processed via an external payment provider, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. Once payment is due, you will receive a payment link from us via email.
As soon as you receive the booking confirmation/invoice by email, a down payment of 20% of the tour price is due.
The remaining payment of 80% is due up to 4 weeks before arrival.

We require immediate written notification from you if you have to cancel the trip for health reasons. If you have travel insurance, you should visit a doctor at your current location during the trip to obtain a medical certificate and have costs for unused services reimbursed by your insurance.

Our travel documents are provided once per room. If you would like multiple copies, we charge 20 EUR per package.
This is generally not possible. Subject to our rebooking fees as per our GTC, you can rebook to our option including luggage transfer, depending on availability.
