Create unforgettable moments and connect two generations in the process — the cycle tour from Munich past the Three Peaks to Venice offers the perfect opportunity to escape everyday life together and have deep conversations while being active on the road.

The perfect route for a time-out together

Looking for a special experience with your grown-up children? Discover something new — perhaps in the fall? Whether as a present for a father’s birthday, a wedding anniversary or simply to finally spend some quality time together. We have an idea.

The perfect route for such a time-out together — a real classic — leads past the Bavarian lakes and along the rivers of Austria, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Dolomites to Treviso and finally to the Doge’s Palaces and canals of the lagoon city of Venice in Italy. A journey that is guaranteed to be an experience that everyone will remember fondly.

No matter in which constellation the family is traveling — father and son, mother with daughter — would you prefer something a little more sporty or would you rather enjoy a wellness area or two in between and delicious specialties in the evening? With the various options offered by Feuer & Eis Touristik, there is sure to be something suitable for everyone. The following options are available for booking this trip — which is safe on cycle paths, special cycle routes or small side roads:

Active option: sporty from Munich to Venice

This tour covers 510 kilometers and 3820 vertical meters in just 9 days. Initially passing monasteries and through Bavarian villages, the route continues through the Karwendel Nature Park to the Achensee vacation region. You cycle from Sterzing to Mühlbach via Innsbruck and then continue through the Pustertal valley to Toblach. A fantastic mountain backdrop then awaits you on the route from Lake Toblach to the Dolomite town of Cortina Ampezzo — you simply have to enjoy it. The route continues to Pieve / Calalzo di Cadore and on to Conegliano. After the end of the Alps, you then roll comfortably via Treviso towards the Mediterranean — directly to Mestre.

Incidentally, Venice itself is closed to cyclists. However, if you want to explore the city in a relaxed way, you should simply treat yourself to an extra day — this can easily be booked. You can then return to Munich in comfort on the pre-booked shuttle bus! The exact tour, including the altitude difference of the individual stages and further information, can be found here.

RACE CYCLISTS WATCH OUT: This tour can also be booked in an extended road bike version (9 days, 704 kilometers & 9535 vertical meters). All information can be found here.

Pleasure variant: Spending time together in comfort

523 kilometers in 11 days: perfect for those who prefer a more leisurely ride through three countries to the lagoon city. The route is the same as the sporty tour — just with more stops and overnight stays in Innsbruck, Pieve dei Caldore and Treviso. Other highlights of the tour: passing the beautiful Dobbiaco Lake, you can enjoy a unique panoramic view of the Three Peaks rock formation before reaching Lake Dürrensee. Other highlights of the tour include the sandy beach with turquoise waters of Lago di Santa Croce and the branching canals in the center of Treviso.

Further information on the leisurely connoisseur version of the cycle tour can be found here.

Comfort-Variatne: With charm in high-quality 4 to 4s star hotels

The route remains the same on this tour too, but the overnight stays are in particularly high-quality and charming 4 to 4‑star hotels. For all those who appreciate a little bit more, there is a special extra dose of pampering: a sumptuous breakfast every day as well as either a fantastic wellness area or the highest culinary delights in the evening. This simply makes the trip even more enjoyable. Further information on the tour with charm can be found here.

And to ensure that the planned vacation with the family is as stress-free as possible: simply book the all-round carefree package from Feuer und Eis Touristik, sit back, leave the organization to the professionals and experience an unforgettable trip together.
