Hiking trilogy from Munich via Cortina to Venice in 21 days
How long can it be? Two sections, 14 days with 180km to Cortina d’Ampezzo or for extreme endurance and long-distance hikers the complete route from Munich to Venice? For this you have to reckon with 19 daily stages and a total of approx. 290 kilometers with 10,330 meters of altitude (rest days not yet planned, but recommended). One scenic highlight follows another — from the start in Munich via the wild Karwendel, the fjord-like Tiroler Achensee and the Zillertal, where the main Alpine ridge is crossed. In the Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park (one of the largest protected areas in South Tyrol) and the famous Pragser Wildsee lake, you dive deep into the Dolomites and then reach your destination in Cortina via the tranquil Hell & Höhlenstein valley. If you still haven’t had enough, you can continue on six stages through the diverse Belluno to Venice by the sea. Culture, enjoyment and northern Italian charm included.
