The route leads downhill from the reservoir through a rock tunnel towards Lengries. From here, the route continues through the enchanting juniper heath along the Isar to Bad Tölz. After continuing from Bad Tölz on a chain of hills, you reach Geretsried and thus other suburbs of Munich. The route takes you directly into the center of Munich. You should not miss out on a hearty Bavarian snack at the Viktualienmarkt. But highlights such as Nymphenburg Palace, BMW Welt, FC Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena, the Deutsches Museum or the Hofbräuhaus and Marienplatz are also waiting to be discovered in the state capital of Munich. Munich’s 1972 Olympic Park is also criss-crossed by numerous cycle paths.
