Cycle 520 km across the Alps from St. Moritz via Inns­bruck to Pas­sau on the Danu­be. A cycle tour along the Inn with a pure Alpi­ne expe­ri­ence from the young, bubbling cour­se of the river to the wide, lei­su­re­ly flow of the Danu­be. Both the rivers and the neigh­bor­ing lakes accom­pa­ny you with an out­stan­ding moun­tain back­drop. Num­e­rous pic­tures­que places along the rou­te make this cycle tour uni­que. The many pos­si­ble com­bi­na­ti­ons with other cycle rou­tes, such as the Isar-Inn cycle rou­te or the Isar-Danu­be-Inn cycle rou­te, allow you to extend your cycle tour flexibly.

The Inn Cycle Path is a fasci­na­ting rou­te that runs along the pic­tures­que Inn River from the Swiss Alpi­ne town of St. Moritz to the Aus­tri­an capi­tal of Inns­bruck. This cycle tour offers spec­ta­cu­lar sce­n­ery, char­ming vil­la­ges and a varie­ty of cul­tu­ral and his­to­ri­cal sights. 

The rou­te starts in St. Moritz, a renow­ned win­ter sports resort in the Swiss Alps. From here, you fol­low the cour­se of the Inn river while enjoy­ing the breath­ta­king moun­tain sce­n­ery. You cycle past clear moun­tain lakes, green val­leys and impres­si­ve gor­ges through the idyl­lic Alpi­ne landscape. 

During your jour­ney, you will pass through pic­tures­que Swiss vil­la­ges such as Zuoz, Same­dan and Scuol. Explo­re their char­ming old towns, visit his­to­ric buil­dings and sam­ple local delicacies. 

The high­light of the tour is the arri­val in Inns­bruck, the capi­tal of Tyrol. Here you will encoun­ter a mix­tu­re of Alpi­ne tra­di­ti­on and urban flair. Visit the famous Gol­den Roof, stroll through the his­to­ric old town and enjoy the pan­o­r­amic view from the Seegrube.

The rou­te leads downhill from the reser­voir through a rock tun­nel towards Len­gries. From here, the rou­te con­ti­nues through the enchan­ting juni­per heath along the Isar to Bad Tölz. After con­ti­nuing from Bad Tölz on a chain of hills, you reach Gerets­ried and thus other sub­urbs of Munich. The rou­te takes you direct­ly into the cen­ter of Munich. You should not miss out on a hear­ty Bava­ri­an snack at the Vik­tua­li­en­markt. But high­lights such as Nym­phen­burg Palace, BMW Welt, FC Bay­ern Munich’s Alli­anz Are­na, the Deut­sches Muse­um or the Hof­bräu­haus and Mari­en­platz are also wai­ting to be dis­co­ver­ed in the sta­te capi­tal of Munich. Munich’s 1972 Olym­pic Park is also criss-crossed by num­e­rous cycle paths. You lea­ve the city through the impres­si­ve Eng­lish Gar­den and can con­ti­nue your tour on the cycle path wit­hout stressful city traffic.
