Mont Blanc — the highest peak in the Alps, a symbol of wild beauty and a destination of longing for hikers from all over the world. Embedded in one of the most impressive mountain landscapes in Europe, the region around Mont Blanc combines alpine high mountain scenery with the culture of three countries: France, Italy and Switzerland. The sections through the French Chamonix Valley and the idyllic Val Ferret in Switzerland are particularly inviting for varied discovery tours. The classic Tour du Mont Blanc leads along well-maintained paths past imposing glacier flanks, through blossoming Alpine valleys and over panoramic passes, which repeatedly offer breathtaking views of the snow-covered massif. Sometimes lonely and wild, sometimes embedded in charming mountain villages — a hiking tour around Mont Blanc is an invitation to pause, take a deep breath and marvel. Whether you choose the west or east side — or want to experience both: You can look forward to intense experiences of nature, genuine hospitality in rustic mountain huts and the feeling of being on one of the most beautiful long-distance hiking trails in Europe.
