As an ice-cold, tur­quoi­se wild river, the Isar starts at Schar­nitz in the Bava­ri­an Alps and then flows via Mit­ten­wald to the cos­mo­po­li­tan city of Munich and into the Danu­be. The­re are num­e­rous sights and bathing lakes along the Isar cycle path through Bava­ria — and the nea­rest beer gar­den is usual­ly not far away either. 

In seven days, you cover 299 km until you reach your desti­na­ti­on in Plattling.

Ammer-Amper cycle path: Cycle tour through the Ammer­gau Alps

A 207 km long plea­su­re tour, always down­stream, awaits you on the Ammer-Amper cycle path, start­ing at the Ammer springs in the Gras­wang val­ley, one of the most beau­tiful high val­leys in the Bava­ri­an Alps.

The rou­te leads past the Ammer­see — but the­re is also ple­nty of oppor­tu­ni­ty to cool off along the way. Num­e­rous sights, beer gar­dens, idyl­lic river land­scapes and towns accom­pa­ny cyclists on the 7 days befo­re the Amper flows into the Isar in Moosburg. 

This cycle tour leads along a clas­si­fied 4* ADFC qua­li­ty rou­te and is one of the most popu­lar cycle rou­tes in Germany.

Lech­rad­weg: From Donau­wörth to Lands­berg am Lech

On three natu­re sec­tions and in five stages cove­ring 257 km, the Lech Cycle Path leads through land­scapes that could not be more dif­fe­rent. The start is in Donau­wörth, via Augs­burg to Lands­berg am Lech. 

Upstream into the Reut­te Natu­re Park regi­on. Along the banks, you can cle­ar­ly see how this last wild river has shaped natu­re and crea­ted a wide varie­ty of habi­tats. This cycle tour can of cour­se also be boo­ked with lug­ga­ge trans­port at Feu­er und Eis!

Iller cycle path: dis­co­ver natu­re in the All­gäu and Upper Bavaria

We recom­mend the Iller cycle path to all natu­re lovers! This 145km cycle tour takes you through the beau­tiful, unspoilt coun­try­si­de from Oberst­dorf, always fol­lo­wing the water down­stream until you reach your desti­na­ti­on in the city of Ulm after 5 days. 

Of cour­se, the­re are also bathing lakes along the way to cool off quick­ly on hot sum­mer days. The Iller Cycle Path is a sec­tion of the All­gäu Cycle Tour, a long-distance cycle rou­te cer­ti­fied with 4 stars by the ADFC.

On the Inn cycle path from Inns­bruck to Passau

In 8 days always com­for­ta­b­ly upstream in a varied land­scape on the Inn Cycle Path — from the green Inn near Inns­bruck in the Tyro­lean moun­ta­ins via Kuf­stein via Was­ser­burg to Upper & Lower Bava­ria to the 3‑river city of Pas­sau.
