A sus­tainable future is being crea­ted at Lake Tegern­see: in clo­se coope­ra­ti­on with com­pa­nies, muni­ci­pa­li­ties and asso­cia­ti­ons, we are com­mit­ted to the respon­si­ble use of natu­re and resour­ces. Tog­e­ther, we deve­lop inno­va­ti­ve con­cepts that both pre­ser­ve the beau­ty of our land­scape and streng­then the local eco­no­my and qua­li­ty of life. From envi­ron­men­tal­ly fri­end­ly tou­rism offers to regio­nal pro­jects — at Lake Tegern­see we show how joint action can bring about sus­tainable change. 

As an orga­ni­zer of acti­ve trips in the gre­at out­doors, we see it as our duty and would like you to join us in taking respon­si­bi­li­ty for pre­ser­ving and pro­tec­ting our natu­re and homeland.

What do we want to achie­ve — added value and eco­lo­gi­cal footprint:

  • to bring peo­p­le clo­ser to natu­re in an authen­tic way
  • to work clo­se­ly with regio­nal part­ners and hosts
  • to crea­te added value for the regi­on and at the same time crea­te added value for the guests
  • acti­ve par­ti­ci­pa­ti­on in ani­mal wel­fa­re (sin­ce Janu­ary 2020)

We make our purcha­ses local­ly and work with regio­nal partners.

We sup­port the Wil­des Bay­ern e.V. and Berg­wald­pro­jekt e.V. associations.

CO2 com­pen­sa­ti­on shipping

Tra­vel docu­ments are sent with DHL GoGreen to off­set the CO2e emis­si­ons cau­sed by transportation.

Bund­ling of transfers

Trans­fer jour­neys (lug­ga­ge or pas­sen­ger trans­fers) are bund­led in order to save green­house gases.

Sus­tainable hotel partnerships

Whe­re­ver pos­si­ble, we only work with hotel part­ners who are also com­mit­ted to sustainability.

Low-emis­si­on journey

Envi­ron­men­tal­ly fri­end­ly and low-emis­si­on tra­vel is encou­ra­ged by recom­men­ding the use of public transport.

Pla­s­tic-redu­ced underlays

Tra­vel docu­ments have been con­ver­ted to less pla­s­tic and are now made from sus­tainable mate­ri­als from the region.

Sus­tainable cor­po­ra­te structure

In-house pro­ces­ses were con­ver­ted to a sus­tainable cor­po­ra­te struc­tu­re, inclu­ding digi­ta­liza­ti­on and green electricity.

E‑fleet

Our vehic­le fleet was con­ver­ted to e‑cars.

Hiking cour­ses & natu­re education

Hiking cour­ses in pre­pa­ra­ti­on for tours offer the oppor­tu­ni­ty to learn how to inter­act with natu­re and animals.

Com­pa­ny bicycles

Com­pa­ny bicy­cles are available to our employees.
