from 1.392,- per person

The classic in Switzerland’s cycling country: get to know a part of Switzerland along the Aare that has retained the charm of the provinces, the farming lifestyle and unspoiled nature right up to the present day: Visit our country and its inhabitants “through the back door”, so to speak — not through the front entrance with all the tourist clichés.

Itinerary / Stages

Individual arrival in Interlaken
Distanz: 0 km Höhe (+): 0m Höhe (-): 0m
Arrive relaxed in Interlaken and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Boat trip to Thun / Thun Bern
Distanz: 36 km Höhe (+): 148m Höhe (-): 166m
You start the journey with a ride through the wide Aare valley: large villages, industry, open fields and a powerful river in a rich floodplain landscape. Enter the federal capital of Bern, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a bustle of shops in the arcades
Berne — Biel
Distanz: 47 km Höhe (+): 310m Höhe (-): 420m
A few pedal strokes will take you from the UNESCO-listed Old Town of Bern to the idyllic Lake Wohlen. Follow the Aare into the Seeland, a huge vegetable garden thanks to the Hagneck Canal. Lake Biel can be glimpsed behind the reeds and alluvial forest, and the bilingual town of Biel is a hive of activity.
Biel — Solothurn
Distanz: 30 km Höhe (+): 80m Höhe (-): 85m
Children of the Jura water correction: the Nidau-Büren Canal and the old water loop in Häftli. The dry Witi, world of the stork and hare chamber. Not far away are the lazy meanders of the Aare, and from a distance the St. Ursen tower marks the baroque town of Solothurn.
Solothurn — Aarau
Distanz: 60 km Höhe (+): 360m Höhe (-): 420m
Everything seems to crowd into the long ribbon of settlements at the foot of the Jura: The Aare and traffic, small towns and people, factories and warehouses. Unspectacularly normal — the rural, tranquil Mittelland is always close by and nature is not far away.
Aarau — Bad Zurzach
Distanz: 50 km Höhe (+): 320m Höhe (-): 350m
Along the Aare, an interesting interplay of gabled houses, irises, cement factory and duck paradise. Just like the water, you cycle through meadows, ravines and past reservoirs, along the Reuss, the Limmat and the Rhine. From Koblenz, continue to Bad Zurzach.
Individual departure or extension
Distanz: 0 km Höhe (+): 0m Höhe (-): 0m
