Whe­ther you live in Bad Wies­see, Rot­tach-Egern or Tegern­see — the­re is a won­derful Christ­mas mar­ket in every town. You can tra­vel from one mar­ket to the next in com­fort by boat. Stroll along the pro­me­na­de and sam­ple the most inte­res­t­ing culina­ry delights. Let yours­elf be enchan­ted by local crafts and regio­nal­ly pro­du­ced goods and deli­ca­ci­es. You might even dis­co­ver a Christ­mas pre­sent or two…

Why not use the day for a trip up the Wall­berg — the local moun­tain of the Tegern­see val­ley with incre­di­ble views. In good snow con­di­ti­ons, you can enjoy a spee­dy tobog­gan run through the win­ter land­scape on the per­fect­ly groo­med tobog­gan run. You can relax in the iod­i­ne sulp­hur bath in Bad Wies­see or in the Tegern­see lake sau­na. A hike on the beau­tiful Tegern­see High Trail is also well wort­hwhile. You are also wel­co­me to extend your stay and dis­co­ver other high­lights on Lake Tegernsee.

The mee­ting point is at 11 a.m. on Satur­day at the Tou­rist Infor­ma­ti­on Tegern­see, Haupt­str. 2, 83684 Tegern­see. The gui­ded tour lasts until approx. 2 pm.

Arrival/Departure
BY CAR: FROM THE NORTH: Take the A8 Munich-Salz­burg high­way to the Holz­kir­chen exit and then the B318/B307 to Tegern­see. FROM THE SOUTH: Eit­her via the Inn Val­ley, the Achen Pass and the B307 or the Inn Val­ley high­way, the A8 Munich-Salz­burg high­way, to the Irschen­berg exit. Con­ti­nue via the B472 and B318 to Tegern­see. // RAILWAY: From Munich main sta­ti­on con­ti­nue with the BRB to Gmund or Tegern­see, bus or cab to the hotel.
