A warm wel­co­me to fes­ti­ve Tegern­see! Immer­se yours­elf in the cozy atmo­sphe­re by the spar­k­ling lake and enjoy a warm glass of mull­ed wine. Whe­ther you’re stay­ing in Bad Wies­see or Rot­tach-Egern, an enchan­ting Advent mar­ket awaits you in both towns as well as in Tegern­see. You can easi­ly tra­vel from one mar­ket to the next on the shut­tle boat. Stroll along the lake­si­de pro­me­na­de and sam­ple the wide varie­ty of culina­ry delights. Be enchan­ted by local crafts and regio­nal products—you might even find a Christ­mas gift or two.

Gui­ded tour of the Tegern­see cast­le market

Advent, Advent, a litt­le light is bur­ning! Today you’ll have the oppor­tu­ni­ty to explo­re the town of Tegern­see and its enchan­ting cast­le mar­ket tog­e­ther with a local gui­de from Tegern­see. During this tour, you’ll learn inte­res­t­ing facts about the regi­on, its resi­dents, tra­di­tio­nal cus­toms, and cul­tu­re. During a short break, you’ll be trea­ted to a warm­ing drink and a sweet treat.

Day at lei­su­re, depar­tu­re or extension

Spend the day taking a trip up the Wall­berg, the local moun­tain of the Tegern­see Val­ley, which offers an impres­si­ve pan­o­r­amic view. When snow con­di­ti­ons are good, you can enjoy an exci­ting sled­ding ride down the per­fect­ly groo­med tobog­gan run in this win­ter won­der­land. To relax, we recom­mend a visit to the See­sau­na Tegern­see or the iod­i­ne-sul­fur bath in Bad Wies­see. Ano­ther equal­ly wort­hwhile opti­on is a hike along the scenic Tegern­see High Trail. If you’d like to extend your stay, the­re are more high­lights to dis­co­ver around Lake Tegernsee.

Con­ti­nue via the B472 and B318 to Tegern­see // BY TRAIN: From Munich main sta­ti­on, con­ti­nue with the BRB to Gmund or Tegern­see, bus or cab to the hotel
