Whe­ther you choo­se Bad Wies­see, Tegern­see or Rot­tach-Egern, each of the­se mar­kets has its own uni­que charm and will whisk you away to a spar­k­ling lake­si­de land­scape with a very spe­cial atmo­sphe­re. We have a spe­cial offer for you, espe­ci­al­ly for the quiet Advent sea­son: you can visit one of the Advent mar­kets tog­e­ther with a Tegern­see local gui­de, who will give you inte­res­t­ing insights into the cul­tu­re, peo­p­le, cus­toms and tra­di­ti­ons of the regi­on. Whe­ther you live in Bad Wies­see, Rot­tach-Egern or Tegern­see, a magi­cal Advent mar­ket awaits you in each of the­se towns. You can easi­ly tra­vel from one mar­ket to the next by shut­tle boat. Stroll along the lake­si­de pro­me­na­de and sam­ple the many culina­ry delights on offer. Let yours­elf be enchan­ted by local crafts and regio­nal pro­ducts, you might even find a Christ­mas pre­sent or two.

Spend the day with a trip up the Wall­berg, the local moun­tain of the Tegern­see Val­ley, which offers an impres­si­ve pan­o­r­amic view. In good snow con­di­ti­ons, you have the oppor­tu­ni­ty to enjoy an exci­ting tobog­gan run on the per­fect­ly groo­med tobog­gan run in the win­ter won­der­land. For rela­xa­ti­on, we recom­mend a visit to the iod­i­ne sulp­hur bath in Bad Wies­see. An equal­ly rewar­ding opti­on is a hike on the Tegern­see High Trail, which is rich in views. If you would like to extend your stay, the­re are more high­lights to dis­co­ver at Lake Tegernsee.
