No mat­ter whe­ther you live in Bad Wies­see, Rot­tach-Egern or Tegern­see — an enchan­ting Advent mar­ket awaits you in all the­se places. Thanks to the shut­tle boat, you can easi­ly get from one mar­ket to the next. Stroll along the lake­si­de pro­me­na­de and sam­ple the most fasci­na­ting culina­ry delights. Let yours­elf be tempt­ed by local crafts and regio­nal­ly pro­du­ced pro­ducts and deli­ca­ci­es. You might even dis­co­ver a Christ­mas pre­sent or two…

Advent, Advent, a litt­le light is bur­ning! Today you have the oppor­tu­ni­ty to explo­re the town of Tegern­see and its enchan­ting cast­le mar­ket with a local gui­de who knows the area well. During this tour, you’ll learn inte­res­t­ing facts about the regi­on, its resi­dents, and local cus­toms and tra­di­ti­ons. Tre­at yours­elf to the warmth of a hot drink and a sweet tre­at during a short break. Here, you’ll expe­ri­ence the authen­tic atmo­sphe­re of the Advent season!

Day at lei­su­re, depar­tu­re or extension

Spend the day taking a trip up the Wall­berg, the striking local moun­tain of the Tegern­see Val­ley, which offers a breath­ta­king pan­o­r­amic view. When snow con­di­ti­ons are good, you can enjoy an exci­ting sled ride through the win­ter won­der­land on the per­fect­ly groo­med tobog­gan run. To relax, visit the Tegern­see lake­si­de sau­na or the iod­i­ne-sul­fur bath in Bad Wies­see. Ano­ther wort­hwhile acti­vi­ty is a hike along the pic­tures­que Tegern­see Höhen­weg trail with its impres­si­ve views. If you’d like, you’re also wel­co­me to extend your stay and explo­re other attrac­tions around Lake Tegernsee.

The mee­ting point is at 11 a.m. on Satur­day at the Tou­rist Infor­ma­ti­on Tegern­see, Haupt­str. 2, 83684 Tegern­see. The gui­ded tour lasts until approx. 2 pm.

Arrival/Departure
BY CAR: FROM THE NORTH: Take the A8 Munich-Salz­burg high­way to the Holz­kir­chen exit and then the B318/B307 to Tegern­see. FROM THE SOUTH: Eit­her via the Inn Val­ley, the Achen Pass and the B307 or the Inn Val­ley high­way, the A8 Munich-Salz­burg high­way, to the Irschen­berg exit. Con­ti­nue via the B472 and B318 to Tegern­see // BY TRAIN: From Munich main sta­ti­on, take the BRB to Gmund or Tegern­see, bus or cab to the hotel. 
Par­king
It is usual­ly pos­si­ble to park your vehic­le direct­ly at your boo­ked accom­mo­da­ti­on. We recom­mend that you cla­ri­fy this direct­ly with your accommodation.
