Whe­ther in Bad Wies­see, Tegern­see or Rot­tach-Egern, each of the­se mar­kets has its own uni­que charm and trans­ports you to a glit­te­ring lake­si­de land­scape with a very spe­cial flair. Enjoy an exclu­si­ve offer espe­ci­al­ly for the quiet pre-Christ­mas peri­od: a joint tour to one of the Advent mar­kets accom­pa­nied by a local Tegern­see gui­de who will pro­vi­de you with inte­res­t­ing infor­ma­ti­on about the regi­on, its peo­p­le, cus­toms and tra­di­ti­ons. You can take a short break to enjoy a warm­ing drink and a sweet snack. Spend the day with a trip up the Wall­berg, the striking local moun­tain of the Tegern­see Val­ley, which offers a breath­ta­king pan­o­r­amic view. In good snow con­di­ti­ons, you have the oppor­tu­ni­ty to take an exci­ting tobog­gan ride through the win­ter won­der­land on the per­fect­ly groo­med tobog­gan run. For rela­xa­ti­on, you can visit the iod­i­ne sulp­hur bath in Bad Wies­see. Ano­ther wort­hwhile acti­vi­ty is a hike along the pic­tures­que Tegern­see High Trail with its impres­si­ve views. If you wish, you can also extend your stay and explo­re other sights on Lake Tegernsee.

The mee­ting point is at 11 a.m. on Satur­day at the Tou­rist Infor­ma­ti­on Tegern­see, Haupt­str. 2, 83684 Tegern­see. The gui­ded tour lasts until approx. 2 pm.

BY CAR: FROM THE NORTH: Take the A8 Munich-Salz­burg high­way to the Holz­kir­chen exit and then the B318/B307 to Tegern­see. FROM THE SOUTH: Eit­her via the Inn Val­ley, the Achen Pass and the B307 or the Inn Val­ley high­way, the A8 Munich-Salz­burg high­way, to the Irschen­berg exit. Con­ti­nue via the B472 and B318 to Tegern­see // BY TRAIN: From Munich main sta­ti­on, take the BRB to Gmund or Tegern­see, bus or cab to the hotel.
