The route continues to Saalfelden am Steinernen Meer, the third largest town in the province of Salzburg with its typical Austrian town center. The stage finish is Zell am See, on a peninsula on the shores of Lake Zell in the immediate vicinity of the Kitzsteinhorn glacier.
