The Dolo­mi­tes are your faithful com­pa­n­ion on this cir­cu­lar tour by e‑bike or regu­lar bike (for spor­ty cyclists), which have been declared a UNESCO World Heri­ta­ge Site due to their uni­que monu­men­tal beau­ty. The tour starts in Alta Pus­te­ria and leads to Cor­ti­na d’Am­pez­zo, the pearl of the Dolo­mi­tes and for­mer Olym­pic town. The famous Three Peaks await you on the way. You con­ti­nue along the rou­te of the for­mer Dolo­mi­te rail­road to Felt­re through impres­si­ve land­scapes and pic­tures­que vil­la­ges. You then cycle nor­thwards through the Valsug­a­na Val­ley to Tren­to and on to Bol­za­no, the heart of South Tyrol. Along the Adi­ge and the Isar­co Val­ley, you will enjoy varied natu­re and magni­fi­cent views. The tour ends with the return to Alta Pusteria.

Day 1
Arri­val Hoch­pus­ter­tal (Niederdorf/Toblach)

Indi­vi­du­al arri­val at the start­ing hotel in Alta Pus­te­ria. Free unguard­ed public par­king available near the hotel. 
Day 2
Alta Pus­te­ria Cor­ti­na dAm­pez­zo — Pie­ve di Cadore
Distanz: 65 km Höhe (+): 0m Höhe (-): 0m
The jour­ney beg­ins in Alta Pus­te­ria in the midd­le of the natu­ral para­di­se of the Dolo­mi­tes. Accom­pa­nied by the Three Peaks Natu­re Park on the left and the Fanes-Sen­nes-Prags Natu­re Park on the right, you fol­low the pan­o­r­amic trail along the for­mer Dolo­mi­te Rail­way. Breath­ta­king views of the world-famous Three Peaks are gua­ran­teed. After the gent­le tran­si­ti­on from South Tyrol to Vene­to, you reach Cor­ti­na dAm­pez­zo, sur­roun­ded by maje­s­tic peaks and known as a glamo­rous Olym­pic town. The rou­te con­ti­nues to Pie­ve di Cado­re, through den­se forests, impres­si­ve tun­nels and impres­si­ve moun­tain land­scapes that bring the beau­ty and histo­ry of this uni­que regi­on to life. 
Day 3
Pie­ve di Cado­re — Feltre
Distanz: 75 km Höhe (+): 0m Höhe (-): 0m
From Pie­ve di Cado­re, you cycle on through the impres­si­ve Alpi­ne land­scapes of this Dolo­mi­te regi­on. The rou­te heads south via Lon­ga­ro­ne, a town that was com­ple­te­ly rebuilt after the tra­gic lands­li­de on Mon­te Toc in 1963. You soon reach Bel­lu­no, a quiet, char­ming town, and con­ti­nue through forests and idyl­lic vil­la­ges. Your desti­na­ti­on is Felt­re, a his­to­ric town with views of the maje­s­tic Dolomites. 
Day 4
Felt­re Trento
Distanz: 95 km Höhe (+): 0m Höhe (-): 0m
You lea­ve Felt­re, a char­ming jewel along the his­to­ric Via Clau­dia Augus­ta, and begin the ascent nor­thwards through the Valsug­a­na Val­ley. You soon reach Lake Cal­do­naz­zo, the lar­gest natu­ral lake in Tren­ti­no. If you wish, you can shor­ten the stage with an optio­nal train ride (not included in the pri­ce). At the end of the day, you will reach Tren­to, whe­re the lively his­to­ric cen­ter and the impres­si­ve Buon­con­siglio Cast­le await you. 
Day 5
Tren­to Bolzano

From Tren­to, fol­low the cycle path along the Adi­ge, past viney­ards and orchards. You reach the Salur­ner Klau­se, the lan­guage bor­der bet­ween Tren­ti­no and South Tyrol. Con­ti­nuing along the river, you reach Bol­za­no, the cul­tu­ral and eco­no­mic cen­ter of South Tyrol, whe­re the stage ends 
Day 6
Bol­za­no Bressanone
Distanz: 45 km Höhe (+): 0m Höhe (-): 0m
The day beg­ins in Bol­za­no, whe­re Tyro­lean and Medi­ter­ra­ne­an cul­tu­re meet. After a stroll through the city or a visit to the archaeo­lo­gy muse­um with Ötzi, the cycle tour takes you out of the city along the Eisack cycle path. On the way, you will pass Trost­burg Cast­le and Säben Monas­tery. The rou­te con­ti­nues through viney­ards and alpi­ne land­scapes to Bri­xen, whe­re a walk through the old town and a visit to the cathe­dral round off the day. 
Day 7
Bress­ano­ne — Alta Pusteria 
Distanz: 65 km Höhe (+): 0m Höhe (-): 0m
Start in Bressanone/Brixen and lea­ve the old town to fol­low the cycle path nor­thwards along the Eif­fel river. On the way you pass the migh­ty Fran­zens­fes­te fort­ress, the impres­si­ve Neu­stift and short­ly after­wards the ruins of the Mühl­bach her­mi­ta­ge. Con­ti­nuing along the cycle path, you reach the green Pus­ter­tal val­ley, accom­pa­nied by the tran­quil cour­se of the Rienz river. A short stop in Bru­neck is high­ly recom­men­ded: The lively pede­stri­an zone invi­tes you to lin­ger with its cafés, stores and alpi­ne atmo­sphe­re. Just a few more kilo­me­ters and you will reach Alta Pusteria.

By car: via the Bren­ner high­way (A22) to Bri­xen, exit Fran­zens­fes­te, Pus­ter­tal — through the Pus­ter­tal (sta­te road SS49) to Nie­der­dorf or Tob­lach, depen­ding on the arri­val hotel or via the Fel­ber­tau­ern roads to Lienz in East Tyrol and on to Ita­ly in the Hoch­pus­ter­tal (Nie­der­dorf or Tob­lach, depen­ding on the arri­val hotel).by train: to Inns­bruck via the Bren­ner to Fran­zens­fes­te. From here to Alta Pus­te­ria (train sta­ti­on Vil­la­bassa or Dob­bia­co, depen­ding on the hotel you are stay­ing at). Tour cha­rac­ter
The cycle tour was spe­ci­al­ly desi­gned for e‑bike cyclists. Almost the enti­re rou­te runs on cycle paths. Alt­hough you always have the Dolo­mi­tes in view, you cycle com­for­ta­b­ly at their feet along easy val­ley cycle paths and quiet side roads. Spor­ty cyclists can also tack­le this rou­te on a nor­mal bike! The cycle tour is sui­ta­ble for child­ren aged 14 and over. 
Other notes
To ensu­re a stress-free start to the trip, we recom­mend arri­ving at the start­ing point by ear­ly evening in most cases. Some tours start as ear­ly as mid­day, in which case we recom­mend arri­ving the day befo­re and will be hap­py to book an extra night for you at the same time. The indi­vi­du­al return jour­ney takes place on the last day of the tour. The kilo­me­ters are appro­xi­ma­te and may dif­fer from the actu­al kilo­me­ters cover­ed. This tour is not sui­ta­ble for peo­p­le with redu­ced mobility. 
Mini­mum num­ber of participants
If a mini­mum num­ber of par­ti­ci­pan­ts is requi­red for the tour to take place, this is sta­ted under Pri­ces and ser­vices. If the mini­mum num­ber of par­ti­ci­pan­ts is not rea­ched, we reser­ve the right to can­cel the trip up to four weeks befo­re the date of arri­val. We recom­mend that you do not orga­ni­ze your arri­val and depar­tu­re until after this dead­line has passed.
