Upper Bavaria’s lakes and summit trails without luggage transfer

from 868,- per person

This hiking tour takes you right into the heart of the picturesque natural scenery of Upper Bavaria. Glistening mountain lakes, blooming meadows, rustic Alpine pastures and the constant tinkling of cowbells create an atmosphere that accompanies you every step of the way. Hearty delicacies and a freshly tapped beer await you in the cozy huts with views that are hard to put into words. Your route begins in the Isarwinkel, where the last wild river in Bavaria still rushes untamed. The route continues along varied paths to Lake Tegernsee. At the Riederstein, where a small chapel sits dizzyingly enthroned on a rock, a wide valley panorama spreads out before you — a moment to treasure. The striking Wendelstein announces itself from afar. Those who reach its summit are rewarded with a panoramic view that is second to none. On warm days, the mountain lakes invite you to refresh yourself: the crystal-clear Spitzingsee, the lively Schliersee and the tranquil Soinsee, each with its own character, each a small natural paradise. Look forward to a journey that combines contrasts: enjoyment and exercise, tranquillity and adventure, nature and culture. And at the end, take a piece of Bavarian lifestyle home with you as an unforgettable memory.
