The dream of a Lake Gar­da cycle path will beco­me rea­li­ty in the next few years. The 140-kilo­met­re cycle path is nea­ring com­ple­ti­on. On this cycle tour, you will explo­re all the regi­ons around Lake Gar­da with all their pecu­lia­ri­ties. From the Medi­ter­ra­ne­an-influen­ced south to the out­door Mec­ca in the north. A bree­zy detour to Mon­te Bal­do and an excur­si­on to Vero­na, the city of love, are also a must!

Indi­vi­du­al arri­val in Bussolengo

Indi­vi­du­al arri­val at the start­ing hotel in Alta Pus­te­ria. Free pri­va­te par­king available near the hotel. 
Round trip Bus­so­len­go — Verona
Distanz: 40 km Höhe (+): 200m Höhe (-): 0m
Bus­so­len­go is loca­ted direct­ly on the Adi­ge in the midd­le of the hil­ly land­scape of the Vene­ti­an Pre-Alps. On the first stage, you fol­low the cour­se of the river to Vero­na, the roman­tic, ele­gant and flou­ris­hing city of Romeo and Juliet. Vero­na’s old town has been a UNESCO World Heri­ta­ge Site sin­ce 2000 and is a place full of histo­ry, cul­tu­re, archi­tec­tu­re and joie de viv­re. You cycle over the hills of the sou­thern Lake Gar­da regi­on via Som­ma­cam­pa­gna back to Bussolengo. 
Bus­so­len­go — Salò
Distanz: 55 km Höhe (+): 375m Höhe (-): 0m
The second stage takes you to the shores of Lake Gar­da near Pesc­hie­ra. Other lively stops along the rou­te are Desen­za­no, Padeng­he and Moniga. The day’s desti­na­ti­on is Salò, situa­ted in a bay on the west side of Lake Gar­da. Typi­cal of Salò are the bran­ching streets and alley­ways and, abo­ve all, the famous Lungo­la­go. Get yours­elf an ice cream in one of the many gela­te­ri­as and take a lei­su­re­ly stroll along the lake­si­de promenade. 
Salò — Limone
Distanz: 30 km Höhe (+): 550m Höhe (-): 0m
Today you cycle lei­su­re­ly along the water to Garg­na­no. From the­re, you take the fer­ry (ticket included) direct­ly to Limo­ne, which is not only famous for its lemon gar­dens. You then fol­low the most spec­ta­cu­lar cycle path in Euro­pe. On a sec­tion of a few kilo­me­ters, the new­ly ope­ned cycle path floats part­ly free over the lake 50 m abo­ve the water. 
Limo­ne — Malcesine
Distanz: 20 km Höhe (+): 100m Höhe (-): 0m
You pass the two nor­t­hern­most towns on Lake Gar­da, Riva del Gar­da and Tor­bo­le. The nor­t­hern Lake Gar­da regi­on is par­ti­cu­lar­ly popu­lar with water sports enthu­si­asts, clim­bers and cyclists. On the eas­tern side of the lake, you final­ly reach Mal­ce­si­ne at the foot of Mon­te Bal­do. Short­cut opti­on by boat across the lake (ticket for 1 boat trip included on this day) 
Mon­te Bal­do — Garda
Distanz: 45 km Höhe (+): 200m Höhe (-): 0m
Today’s stage is a clear con­trast to the rest of the tour. A cable car/transfer (ticket included) takes you to the start­ing point at almost 1,700 m on the ridge of Mon­te Bal­do. A won­derful­ly situa­ted moun­tain road with breath­ta­king views then leads downhill back to more Medi­ter­ra­ne­an regi­ons, a tru­ly enjoya­ble tour. The stage finish is the vil­la­ge of Gar­da, whe­re you return from the quiet hin­ter­land to the lively shore. 
Gar­da — Bussolengo
Distanz: 20 km Höhe (+): 200m Höhe (-): 0m
From Gar­da, cycle along the lake to Bar­do­li­no and on to Lazi­se. Be sure to stop off at one of the many restau­rants by the water or stroll through the nar­row streets of Bar­do­li­no and Lazi­se. Final­ly, you cycle through the hil­ly hin­ter­land to Bussolengo.

The indi­vi­du­al return jour­ney takes place on the last day of the tour. The kilo­me­ters are appro­xi­ma­te and may dif­fer from the actu­al kilo­me­ters cover­ed.
