Tour character
This multi-day alpine hike is classified as a difficult long-distance hike and is aimed at hikers with good basic fitness, surefootedness and some mountain experience. The stages require several hours of walking time and sometimes lead over longer distances with noticeable ascents and descents. The hike is mainly on well-maintained hiking trails, alpine and forest paths as well as climbs. Individual sections can be narrower, but remain technically easy. There are no climbing sections or heavily exposed passages. Depending on the weather, scree, slippery sections or old snow can occur at higher altitudes, so a sure footing is essential. The route combines a variety of landscapes: panoramic high-altitude trails, quiet protected areas, high alpine crossings, lakes and historic crossings between the valleys.
Meeting point
On the first day of your hike, you will be greeted personally at the Eckbauerlift. Your suitcases will also be dropped off there.
