The famous Olym­pic town of Gar­misch-Par­ten­kir­chen invi­tes you to explo­re: dis­co­ver the beau­tiful pede­stri­an zone, the tra­di­tio­nal­ly pain­ted hou­ses and cozy beer gardens.
Gar­misch — Mittenwald
Distanz: 20 km Höhe (+): 750m Höhe (-): 550m
Past the famous ski jump and through the impres­si­ve Part­nach­klamm gor­ge, whe­re roaring mas­ses of water have car­ved them­sel­ves deep into the rock. You hike over the Wam­berg to the Elmau­er Alm and through flowe­ring mea­dows and val­leys to the Lau­t­er­see and Fer­chen­see lakes. You will spend the night in Mit­ten­wald, the place of vio­lin making and Lüftlmalerei. 
Mit­ten­wald — Leutasch
Distanz: 14 km Höhe (+): 200m Höhe (-): 0m
Today we head from Bava­ria into the Tyro­lean moun­ta­ins! The Geis­ter­klamm gor­ge, bold­ly built over a high gor­ge, awaits you to cross on bridges and foot­brid­ges. You then hike through a dream­li­ke high val­ley, in which the popu­lar vaca­ti­on resort of Leu­t­asch lies sur­roun­ded by moun­tain ranges. 
Leu­t­asch — Nauders
Distanz: 15 km Höhe (+): 200m Höhe (-): 700m
Lonely high moor are­as and forests lead you to the crossing on the Buch­ner Höhe. Past the rock faces of the Hohe Mun­de on a beau­tiful hiking trail down into the green Inn­tal val­ley. From the his­to­ric mar­ket town of Telfs, an orga­ni­zed trans­fer will take you into the Tyro­lean Ober­land to Nau­ders am Reschenpass. 
Nau­ders — Reschen / surroundings
Distanz: 14 km Höhe (+): 550m Höhe (-): 850m
Take the cable car to the Mutz­kopf, whe­re you start your hike to Schwarz­see and Grün­see. You climb up to the bor­der tri­ang­le, whe­re you stand right on the bor­der bet­ween Ita­ly, Aus­tria and Switz­er­land. You des­cend via the alpi­ne pas­tu­res to the huge Lake Reschen, who­se main town of the same name is your guest today. Wel­co­me to Italy! 
Reschen / sur­roun­dings — Naturns / surroundings
Distanz: 18 km Höhe (+): 450m Höhe (-): 850m
Short bus ride along Lake Reschen with a view of the sun­ken church of Graun to the start of the tour. A hike in the natu­re reser­ve at Lake Hai­der­see takes you to the idyl­lic Fisch­ga­der­moos and across the moun­tain lake down to the alpi­ne dairy vil­la­ge of Bur­geis. Over varied mea­dow and irri­ga­ti­on chan­nel paths to Schlu­derns and by train through viney­ards and apple orchards to Naturns — the gate­way to the impres­si­ve Texel Group.
Naturns / Sur­roun­dings — Merano
Distanz: 19 km Höhe (+): 400m Höhe (-): 600m
Hike along a pan­o­r­amic trail with gre­at views to the water­cour­ses of the legend trail. Along the many Waal­weg paths, tra­di­tio­nal taverns tempt you to stop for a bite to eat. In the after­noon you reach the Tapp­ei­ner Pro­me­na­de, who­se exo­tic flo­ral sple­ndor you fol­low to Mer­ano Cathe­dral Squa­re. You have now rea­ched the end of your impres­si­ve hiking week and can toast to your expe­ri­en­ces in the pret­ty town cen­ter of Merano.

Return jour­ney from Mer­ano to Gar­misch by train in approx. 4.5 hours (chan­ge trains twice). Alter­na­tively, orga­ni­zed return transfer.

Tour cha­rac­ter
Good stami­na and a solid basic fit­ness level are requi­red for the dai­ly hikes of up to 5 hours. The dai­ly rou­tes run along good and, abo­ve all, very varied moun­tain paths, on which sure­foo­ted­ness is requi­red in some sec­tions. Some of the rou­tes can be shor­ten­ed by public transport. 
Other notes
To ensu­re a stress-free start to the trip, we recom­mend arri­ving at the start­ing point by ear­ly evening in most cases. Some tours start as ear­ly as mid­day, in which case we recom­mend arri­ving the day befo­re and will be hap­py to book an extra night for you at the same time. The indi­vi­du­al return jour­ney takes place on the last day of the tour. The kilo­me­ters are appro­xi­ma­te and may dif­fer from the actu­al kilo­me­ters cover­ed. This tour is not sui­ta­ble for peo­p­le with redu­ced mobility.
