Dolce Vita on Lake Como

from 557,- per person

The convenience of a self-guided star walking vacation is that you don’t have to live out of your suitcase or be under pressure to reach your next hotel, giving you complete flexibility. You decide how you spend your Italian getaway. We offer three self-guided hikes that you can do in the order of your choice. The region is easy to reach (1 hour from Milan airport) and offers a fantastic network of hiking trails that take you from pretty villages to spectacular villas and gardens. We have specifically designed this trip with flexibility in mind and offer you a choice of walks and villa visits, including Carlotta and Balbaniello, which can be undertaken in any order, allowing you to make the most of your time in the region. Your walks will take you across the lake, to panoramic views and through orchards and olive groves, all at your own pace. Each night you will stay in the small, charming village of Lenno. Sparkling waters, colorful villages and well-tended vineyards, all set against a dramatic mountain backdrop. Lake Como is a jewel that you are sure to fall in love with. Lake Como has been the preferred vacation destination of the rich and famous since Roman times, when aristocrats were lured by the lavish villas and magnificent gardens. Let yourself be enchanted by the beautiful landscape and exquisite location and experience the dolce vita up close.
