From Lake Tegern­see to Lake Bled with lug­ga­ge transfer

Crossing the Alps by Bike // Dis­co­ver Bava­ria, Tyrol, Car­in­thia, and Slove­nia This varied bike tour takes you in 6 stages from Tegern­see in Bava­ria, via Lake Achen­see and the Kitz­bü­hel Alps, to Lake Bled in Slove­nia. Along the way, you’ll enjoy breath­ta­king moun­tain pan­ora­mas, tra­di­tio­nal Alpi­ne vil­la­ges, deep-blue lakes, and cul­tu­ral high­lights. The tour beg­ins at Lake Tegern­see, con­ti­nues over the Achen Pass to the tur­quoi­se-green Achen­see, and into the Tyro­lean Inn Val­ley. Via Wörgl and Hopf­gar­ten, you’ll reach the Pil­ler­see­tal val­ley and Fie­ber­brunn. The next stage leads via Zell am See to Fusch at the foot of the Groß­glock­ner Road. From the­re, a shut­tle takes you to the Fuscher Törl (2,428 m), whe­re a spec­ta­cu­lar des­cent through the Möll Val­ley to Ober­vel­lach beg­ins. You’ll con­ti­nue through the Car­in­thi­an Drau Val­ley to Vil­lach, befo­re the final stage takes you past the Pla­ni­ca Ski Jum­ping Are­na and the Slove­ni­an town of Kran­js­ka Gora to the emer­ald-green Lake Bled—with its famous island church, the per­fect desti­na­ti­on for this uni­que Alpi­ne crossing.
