This tour com­bi­nes pure cycling enjoy­ment with the expe­ri­ence of crossing the Alps, start­ing from Ger­ma­ny via Aus­tria to Ita­ly. On cycle paths, cycle rou­tes or small side roads, acti­ve plea­su­re cyclists expe­ri­ence three count­ries with their tou­rist regi­ons and many out­stan­ding natu­ral and cul­tu­ral beau­ties. The tour leads from the Isar metro­po­lis of Munich, past the Bava­ri­an lakes and along the rivers via the Tyro­lean Inn Val­ley, through the UNESCO World Heri­ta­ge Site, the Dolo­mi­tes, to Milan.

Day 1
Jour­ney to Munich

Day 2
Munich — Bad Tölz
Distanz: 60 km Höhe (+): 0m Höhe (-): 0m
You lea­ve Munich along the Isar. The rou­te takes you past monas­te­ries, through Bava­ri­an vil­la­ges and through the Isar flood­plains to the raf­ting town of Bad Tölz with its beau­tiful old town. 
Day 3
Bad Tölz — Schwaz/Jenbach
Distanz: 70 km Höhe (+): 0m Höhe (-): 0m
From Bad Tölz, you cycle fur­ther along the Isar to the Syl­ven­stein­see lake. You cross the Ger­man-Aus­tri­an bor­der through the Kar­wen­del Natu­re Park and reach the Achen­see vaca­ti­on regi­on and the moun­tain lake of the same name. Tho­se who wish can take a boat trip on the Achen­see. Over­night stay depen­ding on avai­la­bi­li­ty in Maurach/Jenbach or Schwaz.
Day 4
Schwaz/Jenbach — Brixen
Distanz: 88 km Höhe (+): 0m Höhe (-): 0m
From Jen­bach or Schwaz, cycle along the well-deve­lo­ped cycle path along the River Inn to Inns­bruck, the capi­tal of Tyrol. Stroll through the his­to­ric old town, visit the famous Gol­den Roof, or take a trip to Mount Isel with its ski jump or the Tirol Pan­ora­ma, which com­me­mo­ra­tes the batt­les under the supre­me com­mand of free­dom figh­ter Andre­as Hofer. The chal­len­ging sec­tion of today’s rou­te from Inns­bruck to the Bren­ner Pass, the bor­der bet­ween Aus­tria and Ita­ly and at the same time the waters­hed and cul­tu­ral axis, is cover­ed by trans­fer by train or bus. Only a few buil­dings remain as remin­ders of the for­mer bor­der. From the Bren­ner Pass you cycle along the old rail­road line to the Fug­ger town of Ster­zing and on to Fran­zens­fes­te and Brixen. 
Day 5
Bri­xen — Kaltern/Mendel
Distanz: 65 km Höhe (+): 0m Höhe (-): 0m
This stage takes you from Bressanone/Brixen to Caldaro/Kaltern, through breath­ta­king land­scapes and places full of histo­ry and cul­tu­re. From Bress­ano­ne you cycle through the beau­tiful Isar­co Val­ley, a green val­ley known for its viney­ards. Along the way you can admi­re Bol­za­no, the lively capi­tal of South Tyrol, known for its uni­que blend of Ita­li­an and Ger­man cul­tu­re. Con­ti­nuing along the South Tyro­lean Wine Road, you pass through char­ming vil­la­ges such as Gel­lé­sam and reach the area around the Men­del Pass and Völs am Schlern, whe­re natu­re and moun­ta­ins form the back­drop to this beau­tiful cycle tour. Final­ly you reach Kal­tern, known for its pic­tures­que lake and fine wines, ide­al for rela­xing after a day on the saddle. 
Day 6
Kaltern/Mendel — Tona­le Pass — Pon­te di Legno
Distanz: 55 km Höhe (+): 0m Höhe (-): 0m
Today’s stage beg­ins with a trans­fer to the Tona­le Pass, from whe­re you start your cycle ride to Pon­te di Leg­no. Along the way, you can admi­re the famous app­les of the Val di Non, a regi­on known for its lush orchards. The spec­ta­cu­lar view of the Bren­ta Dolo­mi­tes makes the cycle tour even more impres­si­ve, with uni­que moun­tain land­scapes and fresh moun­tain air. 
Day 7
Pon­te di Leg­no — Dar­fo Boa­rio Terme

Today you will dis­co­ver the Val Camo­ni­ca with its anci­ent rock car­vings and visit impres­si­ve medieval fort­res­ses that tell sto­ries from times long past. The desti­na­ti­on of this stage is Dar­fo Boa­rio Ter­me, famous for its ther­mal springs. A per­fect blend of natu­re, histo­ry and wellness. 
Day 8
Dar­fo Boa­rio Ter­me — Bergamo
Distanz: 83 km Höhe (+): 0m Höhe (-): 0m
From Dar­fo Boa­rio Ter­me, you cycle to the pic­tures­que Lake Iseo and admi­re its calm waters and the sur­roun­ding moun­ta­ins. The rou­te con­ti­nues through Fran­cia­cor­ta, known for its viney­ards and renow­ned spar­k­ling wines. The arri­val in Ber­ga­mo coin­ci­des with the ride into the old town of the upper city, with its anci­ent walls and cha­rac­te­ristic medieval alley­ways, thus ending a stage full of natu­re, cul­tu­re and traditions. 
Day 9
Ber­ga­mo — Milan
Distanz: 83 km Höhe (+): 0m Höhe (-): 0m
The cycle tour starts in Ber­ga­mo and leads along the Adda River. On the way, we cross the famous Leo­nar­do fer­ry of Imber­sa­go, a pul­ley sys­tem desi­gned by Leo­nar­do da Vin­ci in the ear­ly 16th cen­tu­ry that uses the cur­rent of the river to move the boat wit­hout a motor. Once in Milan, the rou­te fol­lows the pic­tures­que Navigli, the his­to­ric canals that cross the city and con­nect it to its com­mer­cial and artis­tic past.

The cycle tour runs on cycle paths or along very quiet side roads through small vil­la­ges and idyl­lic land­scapes. The cycle tour is sui­ta­ble for child­ren aged 16 and over.
