Expe­ri­ence natu­re in the Dolo­mi­tes: idyl­lic moun­tain lakes, lush alpi­ne mea­dows, green forests and the legen­da­ry Dolo­mi­tes accom­pa­ny you on your hike through the Dolo­mi­tes. It is not for not­hing that the Dolo­mi­tes have been declared a UNESCO World Heri­ta­ge Site. You will explo­re the heart of the Dolo­mi­tes. High­lights include the high pla­teau of Pra­to Piaz­za, Lake Brai­es, the impo­sing Three Peaks, the Lag­a­zuoi with its lake and many other impres­si­ve land­scape experiences.

Day 1
Arri­val Alta Pus­te­ria (Hotel Drei­zin­nen­blick / Dobbiaco)
Distanz: 0 km Höhe (+): 0m Höhe (-): 0m
Indi­vi­du­al arri­val at the start­ing hotel in Alta Pus­te­ria. Free unguard­ed public par­king available near the hotel. 
Day 2
View of the Three Peaks — Pra­to Piaz­za — Prags
Distanz: 19 km Höhe (+): 850m Höhe (-): 1040m
Your hiking tour beg­ins at the Drei­zin­nen­blick. Along the Hell­tal val­ley, you hike uphill along an old war path from the First World War to the Stru­del­kopf (Mon­te Spe­cie) and then the Plät­z­wie­se. The rou­te con­ti­nues into the Prags­er­tal val­ley, your stage desti­na­ti­on. In addi­ti­on to natu­re and tran­quil­li­ty, you can enjoy a stun­ning view of Mon­te Cris­tal­lo, the Tofa­na and the world-famous Three Peaks. To shor­ten the alti­tu­de dif­fe­rence on the des­cent, you can shor­ten the rou­te by bus. 
Day 3
Brai­es — Lago di Brai­es — Pede­rü / San Vigilio
Distanz: 14 km Höhe (+): 900m Höhe (-): 850m
Start­ing from the pearl of the Dolo­mi­te lakes, the Prags­er Wild­see (1,494 m), you hike through the roman­tic area of the Fanes-Sen­nes-Brai­es Natu­re Park, which is one of the lar­gest pro­tec­ted are­as in South Tyrol. In the shadow of the impo­sing mas­sif of the See­ko­fel, you reach the See­ko­fel­hüt­te, which is also the hig­hest point of the hike. Con­ti­nue past the Sen­nes­hüt­te hut with the Sen­nes­see lake. 
Day 4
Pede­rü / San Vigi­lio — San Cassiano
Distanz: 14 km Höhe (+): 710m Höhe (-): 530m
You hike along the Fanes Val­ley and fol­low the Dolo­mi­tes high trail no. 1, which takes you past various cozy huts that invi­te you to stop for a bite to eat. The rou­te con­ti­nues to the Limo­joch and direct­ly past Lake Limo and then to St. Kas­si­an, your stage destination. 
Day 5
San Cas­sia­no — Cor­ti­na dAmpezzo
Distanz: 21 km Höhe (+): 900m Höhe (-): 600m
At first, the trail runs lei­su­re­ly along the val­ley flo­or to the Capan­na Alpi­na. In the shadow of the maje­s­tic Fanes and Con­tu­ri­nes peaks, you hike to the Scot­to­ni refu­ge and on to the crys­tal-clear Lag­a­zuoi lake at the foot of the Scot­to­ni peak, who­se waters reflect the bizar­re peaks of the Fanes Dolo­mi­tes. You hike along the Dolo­mi­tes High Trail to Lag­a­zuoi, which was tur­ned into a veri­ta­ble fort­ress with tun­nels and tren­ches by sol­diers during the First World War. It is pos­si­ble to take the cable car direct­ly from the sum­mit to the Falz­are­go Pass and con­ti­nue by bus to Cor­ti­na. Hike below the Tofa­ne to Pocol and from the­re take the bus to Cortina. 
Day 6
Cor­ti­na Rifu­gio Auron­zo hut — Three Peaks — Three Peaks view
Distanz: 12 km Höhe (+): 120m Höhe (-): 1000m
The bus takes you to the Auron­zo hut, loca­ted direct­ly below the world-famous Three Peaks rock mas­sif. The impo­sing peaks, which were fier­ce­ly fought over as part of the front bet­ween Ita­ly and Aus­tria-Hun­ga­ry during the First World War, are pro­ba­b­ly the most famous rock for­ma­ti­on in the Dolo­mi­tes. From here, you hike lei­su­re­ly down the Rien­za Val­ley to the Drei­zin­nen­blick and take the bus back to the start­ing hotel of your hiking tour in Dobbiaco/Dobbiaco. For the more lei­su­re­ly hikers, the­re is the opti­on of wal­king around the famous Three Peaks and taking the bus from Rifu­gio Auron­zo back to Dobbiaco/Dobbiaco. (Ticket not included in the price).

If the mini­mum num­ber of par­ti­ci­pan­ts is not rea­ched, we reser­ve the right to can­cel the trip up to four weeks befo­re the date of arri­val. We recom­mend that you do not orga­ni­ze your arri­val and depar­tu­re until after this dead­line has passed.
Other notes
To ensu­re a stress-free start to the trip, we recom­mend arri­ving at the start­ing point by ear­ly evening in most cases. Some tours start as ear­ly as mid­day, in which case we recom­mend arri­ving the day befo­re and will be hap­py to book an extra night for you at the same time. The indi­vi­du­al return jour­ney takes place on the last day of the tour. The kilo­me­ters are appro­xi­ma­te and may dif­fer from the actu­al kilo­me­ters cover­ed. This tour is not sui­ta­ble for peo­p­le with redu­ced mobility. 
Par­king
Free unguard­ed par­king in a near­by public par­king lot for the dura­ti­on of the hiking tour.
Arri­val
CAR: via the Bren­ner free­way (A22) to Bri­xen, exit Fran­zens­fes­te, Pus­ter­tal — through the Pus­ter­tal (sta­te road SS49) to Nie­der­dorf or Tob­lach, depen­ding on the hotel or via the Fel­ber­tau­ern road to Lienz in East Tyrol and on to Ita­ly in the Hoch­pus­ter­tal (Nie­der­dorf or Tob­lach, depen­ding on the hotel). BY TRAIN: to Inns­bruck via the Bren­ner Pass to Fran­zens­fes­te. From here to Alta Pus­te­ria (train sta­ti­on Vil­la­bassa or Dob­bia­co, depen­ding on your hotel of depar­tu­re). Time­ta­bles at: www.deutschebahn.de, www.oebb. at, www.trenitalia.com. FLIGHT: Low cost flights to Tre­vi­so or Venice Mar­co Polo air­port. On request, we can orga­ni­ze trans­fers from the air­port to the start­ing point of the tour.
Tour cha­rac­ter
The hiking rou­te runs along mark­ed moun­tain and hiking trails. The tour is sui­ta­ble for anyo­ne with a good basic level of fit­ness. Clim­bing skills are not neces­sa­ry. The hiking tour is sui­ta­ble for child­ren aged 14 and over.
