Isar cycle path: classic with luggage transfer

from 1.048,- per person

Always along the picturesque Isar, the cycle route leads through varied landscapes from the mountains to the Danube. From the ice-cold, crystal-clear and sparkling mountain streams near Scharnitz, the Isar initially meanders through the Alpine foothills as a lively, fresh watercourse. The river soon widens and captivates cyclists on its way through idyllic natural scenery and charming villages. Passing lush meadows, shady forests and gentle hills, you reach the lively city of Munich, where the Isar becomes a cool, refreshing recreational area for city dwellers. Here, numerous green spaces, small pebble beaches and picturesque bridges invite you to take a break or a short detour into the city. After Munich, the river becomes wider and quieter again and accompanies cyclists through the Upper Bavarian countryside to Landshut. The route not only offers scenic beauty, but also cultural highlights: historic town centers, baroque churches and traditional beer gardens invite you to take a break. Finally, near Deggendorf, just before the Bavarian Forest, the Isar transforms into a dark green, majestic river that flows gently into the Danube. The Isar Cycle Path is therefore not only a sporting challenge, but also an impressive journey through the nature, culture and history of Bavaria — an experience that fascinates cyclists of all ages.
