Feuer und Eis Self-Guided Tour

KAT Bike E‑njoy

from 668,- per person

The KAT Bike, the multi-day mountain bike tour through the Kitzbühel Alps, can certainly be measured by its (pretty impressive) facts and figures. And pushing yourself to new heights on it is something to be really proud of at the end. But that alone doesn’t do justice to the bike trail across the Kitzbühel Alps — or to yourself. Because the Kitzbühel Alps Trail is really about completely different things than chasing records and the pressure to perform. More than just higher, faster, further. Because the real goal on the MTB route along the scenic spots of the Tyrolean mountains is something else: to find your own pace, to feel yourself anew, to become free in mind and heart. If that’s what you’re looking for, then a surprise and plenty of goosebumps await you on the KAT Bike! The E‑njoy version of the KAT Bike focuses on enjoyment and impressive experiences in the charming mountain landscape of the Kitzbühel Alps. E‑mountain bikers with basic technical skills and bikers with a good basic level of fitness will get their money’s worth here.

Individual journey to Mariastein/Angerberg
Day 2
Mariastein/Angerberg — Windautal
Distanz: 53 km Höhe (+): 1615m Höhe (-): 1344m
A fantastic and challenging e‑bike tour that guarantees not only scenic but also culinary delights. This is the perfect start to the KAT Bike adventure! The pilgrimage church in Mariastein is a truly impressive place to start your tour! The place gives you impressive views of the mountain ranges that surround the Inn Valley.
Day 3
Windautal — Oberndorf in Tirol
Distanz: 44 km Höhe (+): 827m Höhe (-): 1010m
You start with a relaxed ride down the valley towards Westendorf on a small but very fine, asphalted road. Here you can once again enjoy the very remote and natural flair of the Windau Valley. The rock faces next to the road rise up impressively. From Westendorf, follow the cycle path towards Brixen im Thale. This time you follow the Brixentaler Ache almost to its source. The forest road now winds quickly and somewhat more steeply uphill. And then it arrives: the Wiegalm. At the Wiegalm snack station you can fortify yourself once again with regional specialties. After a few meters downhill on the forest road, you reach the Wiegalm trail. As a red trail, it is classified as moderately difficult, but can be bypassed via the forest road.
Day 4
Oberndorf in Tirol — Fieberbrunn
Distanz: 56 km Höhe (+): 1074m Höhe (-): 953m
You start in the center of the tranquil village of Oberndorf and cycle hilly towards Rerobichl. A landscape lined with farms greets you and you cycle slowly towards the Wilder Kaiser. The view of the Wilder Kaiser and back to the Kitzbüheler Horn is simply stunning. You follow the Großache to Kirchdorf in Tirol, then follow the cycle path into the center of Waidring and turn right at the crossroads towards St. Ulrich am Pillersee. The cycle path along the lake is one of the most beautiful in the region. First along the Grieslbach stream, then directly by the lake, then through the incredibly beautiful moorland landscape all around. After the lake, the route climbs slightly and you follow the cycle path on perfect narrow gravel paths towards the Wiesensee.
Day 5
Individual departure
Distanz: 0 km Höhe (+): 0m Höhe (-): 0m
Individual departure or extension.
