KAT Walk Family

from 1.118,- per person

The KAT Walk Family guarantees a unique hiking experience for young and old! Many discovery zones await curious adventurers along the route: climbing parks, puzzle tours, alpine flower gardens, mountain carts, giant swings, playgrounds and much more are waiting to be explored by you. Decide anew every day: choose the physically demanding Stoabock route (Tyrolean for ibex) to collect many meters of altitude and top athletic performance, or take the more leisurely Oachkatzl path (Tyrolean for squirrel). This also promises fantastic adventures and is easy for children to master thanks to shortcuts by cable car!

Day at leisure
Distanz: 0 km Höhe (+): 0m Höhe (-): 0m

Itter / Hopfgarten — Brixen im Thale
Distanz: 10 km Höhe (+): 700m Höhe (-): 1050m
Let’s go, let’s go Today your adventure in the mountains begins! The summit of the Hohe Salve awaits you with a Kraxxl playground and a revolving restaurant. After you have had your fill of fun, head back down into the valley. On the way, you can explore the RiesenWelt with its exciting discovery zones.
Brixen im Thale — Kirchberg in Tirol
Distanz: 14 km Höhe (+): 961m Höhe (-): 951m
Today you hike up the Gaisberg, which is unique by nature: when the Alps were formed many millions of years ago, the Gaisberg was torn away from the rugged Wilder Kaiser mountain range by the so-called Alpine folding. As a result, the rock and flora here are very different from the mountains in the surrounding area.
Kirchberg in Tirol — St. Johann in Tirol
Distanz: 21 km Höhe (+): 1250m Höhe (-): 1323m
This day starts with a bus or train ride from Kirchberg to Kitzbühel. Today you have to decide what you enjoy the most from the wide range of great activities on the mountain: visit the Alpine flower garden with the kids’ climbing trail at the summit of the Kitzbüheler Horn — this is the highest point on the KAT Walk! Or the Hornpark climbing forest — here you can speed down into the valley on the lightning-fast mountain carts and explore the Hilscherpark forest playground below. All this is waiting for you today — let’s go!
Circular hike in Fieberbrunn
Distanz: 7 km Höhe (+): 500m Höhe (-): 370m
For this stage, first take the train or bus from St. Johann in Tirol to Fieberbrunn (free of charge with the Kitzbühel Alps Guest Card). There are many highlights to explore in the Pillerseetal valley. Timok’s Wild World in Fieberbrunn not only offers a summer toboggan run, but also a forest ropes course and a wildlife enclosure.
Individual departure
Distanz: 0 km Höhe (+): 0m Höhe (-): 0m
With your Kitzbühel Alps Guest Card you can travel back to Hopfgarten by train from Fieberbrunn station free of charge.
