The Lake Con­s­tance cycle path, loca­ted bet­ween Ger­ma­ny, Aus­tria and Switz­er­land, con­nects peo­p­les and cul­tures. Along the way, you will be trea­ted to breath­ta­king views of the vast expan­se of Lake Con­s­tance and the Alps that rise up behind its sou­thern shore. Your cycle rou­te beg­ins in Con­s­tance and winds its way around the lake befo­re retur­ning to Constance.

Indi­vi­du­al arri­val in the Coun­cil City of Con­s­tance with its many sights. You will find the Midd­le Ages ali­ve in the Ros­gar­ten Muse­um. The cafe­te­ria in the inner cour­ty­ard invi­tes you to linger. 
Con­s­tance — Stein am Rhein region 
Distanz: 40 km Höhe (+): 0m Höhe (-): 0m
Through pic­tures­que fishing vil­la­ges along the Unter­see, you reach the medieval town of Stein am Rhein. High abo­ve the town is Hohen­k­lin­gen Cast­le, which dates back to the Midd­le Ages. Visit the Lind­wurm Muse­um befo­re cycling on to Gai­lin­gen, the pearl of the High Rhine. 
Stein am Rhein — Radolf­zell region

In the mor­ning, you will have time for a stroll through the town befo­re arri­ving in the fishing vil­la­ge of Radolf­zell. The town enchants with its char­ming flair and uni­que view of Untersee. 
Radolf­zell — Lake Über­lin­gen region

The char­ming Bod­man attracts visi­tors with its cast­le park. Pass the pic­tures­que town of Sipp­lin­gen and the Birn­au monas­tery church. In Unte­ruhl­din­gen, we recom­mend a visit to the pile-dwel­ling museum. 
Lake Über­lin­gen regi­on — Fried­richs­ha­fen region

Meers­burg, the town of muse­ums, invi­tes you back to the Midd­le Ages with its roman­tic cor­ners. Your rou­te takes you through viney­ards and orchards to Fried­richs­ha­fen with its Zep­pe­lin Muse­um, which you should defi­ni­te­ly visit. 
Fried­richs­ha­fen regi­on — Bregenz/Höchst region

You reach the Lake Con­s­tance metro­po­lis of Lin­dau through the Eris­kir­cher Ried natu­re reser­ve. Visit the old town and the light­hou­ses with the Löwen­mo­le, Lin­dau’s land­mark. In Bre­genz, you should enjoy the uni­que view on a cable car ride up the Pfänder. 
Bregenz/Höchst regi­on — Swiss shore

You reach Switz­er­land through the natu­re reser­ve of the Rhi­ne del­ta and cycle on to Ror­schach with the most beau­tiful gran­ary (muse­um). Fruit and ber­ry crops still domi­na­te this area.

The last day belongs to the foot­hills of the Thur­gau Alps. The lakes­hore invi­tes you to lin­ger befo­re you cycle back to Constance.

Tour cha­rac­ter
Most of the Lake Con­s­tance cycle path runs along cycle paths or quiet side roads, most of which are asphal­ted. Most of the rou­te takes you clo­se to the lakes­hore and is sign­pos­ted throughout. 
Arrival/Departure/Parking
By train: Depen­ding on the hotel you have boo­ked in Con­s­tance, you can eit­her get off at Con­s­tance-Peters­hau­sen sta­ti­on or tra­vel one stop fur­ther to the main sta­ti­on. You can take a cab or the bus to the hotel you have boo­ked. You can find con­nec­tion infor­ma­ti­on (down­loa­da­ble rou­te map) for the bus rou­tes at www.stadtwerke-konstanz.de/mobilitaet/bus/fahrplaene/.Per Cars: Coming from the A81 Stutt­gart-Sin­gen high­way: Enter Kon­stanz on Rei­chen­au­stra­ße, then turn half right towards Meers­burg until you reach the traf­fic cir­cle, take the 3rd exit (sign: Gewer­be­ge­biet Ober­lohn), stay on Ober­lohn­stra­ße, cross the bridge to the 1st traf­fic light, then turn sharp right onto Bück­le­straße. From here it is only 100 meters to the office: You are wel­co­me to park on our part­ner’s pre­mi­ses for the dura­ti­on of the cycle tour. The flat rate of approx. 70 EUR per car must be paid on site. The par­king lot is not guard­ed and the num­ber of par­king spaces is limi­t­ed. The par­king lot can be reser­ved in advan­ce. Plea­se refer to your tra­vel docu­ments for fur­ther infor­ma­ti­on. In some cases, par­king is also available direct­ly at the hotels or in the sur­roun­ding area (public par­king faci­li­ties). All cos­ts incur­red are to be paid on site. For fur­ther infor­ma­ti­on, plea­se cont­act the respec­ti­ve arri­val hotel after recei­ving your hotel list.by pla­ne: The nea­rest air­port is Fried­richs­ha­fen (FDH).

To ensu­re a stress-free start to the trip, we recom­mend arri­ving at the start­ing point by ear­ly evening in most cases. The indi­vi­du­al return jour­ney takes place on the last day of the tour. The kilo­me­ters are appro­xi­ma­te and may dif­fer from the actu­al kilo­me­ters cover­ed. This tour is not sui­ta­ble for peo­p­le with redu­ced mobility.

If the mini­mum num­ber of par­ti­ci­pan­ts is not rea­ched, we reser­ve the right to can­cel the trip up to four weeks befo­re the date of arri­val.
