Indi­vi­du­al arri­val in Con­s­tance and check-in. As ear­ly as 1874, the attrac­ti­ve­ness of the city of Con­s­tance was reco­gni­zed and a hotel was foun­ded, com­bi­ning histo­ry and moder­ni­ty. Make your way to our office, whe­re you will recei­ve your ren­tal bikes and access­ories. You have the rest of the day to enjoy the city and visit the beau­tiful flower island of Main­au or the monas­tery church of Reichenau. 
Con­s­tance — Stein am Rhein/Schaffhausen region

Today you cycle along Unter­see to the pic­tures­que litt­le town of Gott­lie­ben. The archi­tec­tu­re of the for­mer fishing vil­la­ge is very impres­si­ve. The Dra­chen­burg and the Waag­haus are well worth a visit. The famous Rhi­ne Falls await you in Schaff­hau­sen. Around 600,000 liters of water per second cas­ca­de from the lar­gest water­fall in Europe. 
Stein am Rhein/Schaffhausen regi­on — Bodman/Radolfzell region

Plan enough time to visit the medieval town of Stein am Rhein and the Lind­wurm Muse­um. Hohen­k­lin­gen Cast­le towers high abo­ve the small town. Cross the Höri pen­in­su­la to reach the enchan­ting town of Radolf­zell. A visit to Radolf­zell Mins­ter and the Aus­tri­an Cast­le is a must. 
Bodman/Radolfzell regi­on — Fried­richs­ha­fen region
Distanz: 70 km Höhe (+): 0m Höhe (-): 0m
Your first stop is the Birn­au monas­tery church. You then reach Unte­ruhl­din­gen with its uni­que pile-dwel­ling muse­um, which is a UNESCO World Heri­ta­ge Site. The rou­te con­ti­nues via the fishing vil­la­ge of Hag­nau to Fried­richs­ha­fen, also known as the Zep­pe­lin city. A visit to the Zep­pe­lin Muse­um is high­ly recom­men­ded. Stroll along the lake­si­de pro­me­na­de or enjoy a beau­tiful view of the maje­s­tic Alps from the 22-met­re-high obser­va­ti­on tower. If your rou­te con­ti­nues today, you will reach Lin­dau through the Eris­kir­cher Ried natu­re reser­ve. Tip: Today’s rou­te can be shor­ten­ed by approx. 21 km with a train ride (on your own). 
Fried­richs­ha­fen regi­on — Bregenz/Swiss shore region
Distanz: 45 km Höhe (+): 0m Höhe (-): 0m
Stroll through the old town of Lin­dau, which is loca­ted on an island, and mar­vel at the light­hou­ses of the Löwen­mo­le, Lin­dau’s land­mark. You then arri­ve in the cul­tu­ral strong­hold of Bre­genz, the capi­tal of Vor­arl­berg. Stroll through the old town, take the cable car up to the 1064 m high Pfän­der and enjoy the uni­que view of Lake Con­s­tance. Cycle through the Rhi­ne Del­ta natu­re reser­ve into Switz­er­land and the old har­bor town of Ror­schach, whe­re you can visit the old gran­ary. The cycle tour con­ti­nues to Horn. 
Bregenz/Swiss shore regi­on — Constance
Distanz: 65 km Höhe (+): 0m Höhe (-): 0m
The last day of your cycle tour belongs to the can­ton of Thur­gau, which offers ple­nty of varie­ty with its small vil­la­ges and huge orchards. You cycle back to Con­s­tance along Lake Con­s­tance via Romans­horn. Enjoy one last night in the medieval city of the Coun­cil. Tip: The rou­te can be shor­ten­ed by approx. 21 km by train (on your own).

Tour cha­rac­ter
Most of the Lake Con­s­tance cycle path runs along cycle paths or quiet side roads, most of which are asphal­ted. Most of the rou­te takes you clo­se to the lakes­hore and is sign­pos­ted throughout. 
Arrival/Departure/Parking
Arri­val by car: Coming from the A81 Stutt­gart-Sin­gen high­way: Take the Kon­stanz ent­rance on Rei­chen­au­stra­ße, then turn half right towards Meers­burg until the traf­fic cir­cle, take the 3rd exit (sign: Gewer­be­ge­biet Ober­lohn), stay on Ober­lohn­stra­ße, cross the bridge to the 1st traf­fic light, then turn sharp right onto Bück­le­straße. From here it is only 100 m to the office: Depen­ding on the hotel you have boo­ked in Con­s­tance, you can eit­her get off at Con­s­tance-Peters­hau­sen sta­ti­on or tra­vel one stop fur­ther to the main sta­ti­on. You can take a cab or the bus to the hotel you have boo­ked. You can find con­nec­tion infor­ma­ti­on (down­loa­da­ble rou­te map) for the bus rou­tes at www.stadtwerke-konstanz.de/mobilitaet/bus/fahrplaene/.Anreise by pla­ne: The nea­rest air­port is Fried­richs­ha­fen (FDH).parking: You are wel­co­me to park on our part­ner’s pre­mi­ses for the dura­ti­on of the cycle tour. The flat rate of 60 EUR per car must be paid on site. The par­king lot is not guard­ed and the num­ber of par­king spaces is limi­t­ed. The par­king lot can be reser­ved in advan­ce. Fur­ther infor­ma­ti­on can be found in your tra­vel docu­ments, and in some cases par­king is also available direct­ly at the hotels or in the sur­roun­ding area (public par­king faci­li­ties).
