Lake Con­s­tance-Königs­see cycle rou­te: Munich — Lin­dau sec­tion with lug­ga­ge transfer

Today’s rou­te takes you past the small vil­la­ges of Zell and Schwei­negg through idyl­lic forests with a won­derful view of the Zug­spit­ze. From here, the fan­ta­stic pan­ora­ma of the All­gäu Alps opens up befo­re you. Pas­sing Nes­sel­wang and Oy-Mit­tel­berg, you cycle via Memersch, the hig­hest point of the cycle rou­te at approx. 1,000 meters abo­ve sea level, past the tran­quil Rott­ach­see lake to Ret­ten­berg. From the­re, at the foot of the Grün­ten mas­sif, you reach the tran­quil town of Immenstadt. Here you cross the Iller, pass the Klei­ner Alp­see and reach the Gro­ßer Alp­see. The Gro­ße Alp­see not only has a lot to offer in terms of sce­n­ery, it is also a true Mec­ca for water sports enthu­si­asts.
