Start­ing from the Isar metro­po­lis of Munich, this cycle tour takes you across the Alps and through Ger­ma­ny and Aus­tria. Along the Inn and Isar cycle paths and the Munich-Venice Fri­end­ship Cycle Path, the tour leads to Bad Tölz and along the Isar to Lake Wal­chen­see. The rou­te con­ti­nues via Achen­kirch to the idyl­lic Achen­see and from the­re down to Jen­bach via the Inn Val­ley to Kuf­stein. Cyclists reach Kitz­bü­hel via the Bri­xen­tal valley.

Day 1

Indi­vi­du­al arri­val at the start­ing hotel in Munich. If you arri­ve ear­ly, use the time to explo­re the capi­tal of the Free Sta­te of Bavaria. 
Day 2
Munich — Bad Tölz
Distanz: 58 km Höhe (+): 510m Höhe (-): 380m
You start your cycle tour in the sta­te capi­tal of Munich along the Isar. You cycle past Hel­la­brunn Zoo, Grün­wald Forest, Schäft­larn Monas­tery to Wolfrats­hau­sen and Gerets­ried. Through the Isar flood­plains you reach today’s stage desti­na­ti­on Bad Tölz. 
Day 3
Bad Tölz — Maurach
Distanz: 55 km Höhe (+): 520m Höhe (-): 210m
From Bad Tölz, you cycle along the Munich Venice Fri­end­ship Cycle Path along the Isar to the Syl­ven­stein reser­voir. After a breath­ta­king view, you cycle on to Achen­kirch. You cycle along Lake Achen­see to Mau­rach, whe­re you will spend the night. 
Day 4
Mau­rach — Kufstein
Distanz: 52 km Höhe (+): 170m Höhe (-): 620m
Today the stage takes you through the Inn Val­ley from Mau­rach or Jen­bach to the fort­ress town of Kuf­stein. The River Inn is your faithful com­pa­n­ion as it takes you past Brix­legg and Wörgl. 
Day 5
Kuf­stein Kitzbühel
Distanz: 50 km Höhe (+): 890m Höhe (-): 630m
Today the stage takes you through the Bri­xen­tal val­ley from Kuf­stein to Hopf­gar­ten im Bri­xen­tal, always with the impo­sing moun­ta­ins of the Kitz­bü­hel Alps in view.

Tour cha­rac­ter
The cycle tour from Munich to Kitz­bü­hel is a very varied tour for acti­ve lei­su­re cyclists with a basic level of fit­ness. The rou­te runs along asphal­ted cycle paths and low-traf­fic side roads (except in the main sea­son of July/August). From the foot­hills of the Alps via the Bri­xen­tal val­ley the­re are a few clim­bs to over­co­me, in bet­ween the rou­te through the Inn val­ley is more leisurely. 
Arrival/parking/departure
Tra­vel to Munich by car: Munich is one of the busie­st cities in Ger­ma­ny and is easi­ly acces­si­ble via high­ways. Howe­ver, traf­fic jams are often to be expec­ted at the ends of the high­ways. Sin­ce Octo­ber 1, 2010, stric­ter regu­la­ti­ons on the envi­ron­men­tal zone have been in force: only cars with yel­low and green sti­ckers are allo­wed to dri­ve within the Mitt­le­rer Ring, vehic­les with red sti­ckers are prohibited.Arriving by train: Munich has excel­lent natio­nal and inter­na­tio­nal train con­nec­tions, the best way to reach the hotel from the train sta­ti­on is by cab or subway.Parking: The Hotel Bau­er offers par­king spaces (limi­t­ed) for the dura­ti­on of your cycling trip for approx. EUR 6 per day and vehic­le, pay­ment is made direct­ly at the hotel, advan­ce reser­va­ti­on requi­red! Arri­val by pla­ne: The second lar­gest air­port in Ger­ma­ny (MUC) is easy to reach from anywhere!
