The Romans alre­a­dy app­re­cia­ted this, as did the Salz­burg arch­bi­shops and Bava­ri­an dukes. On the dai­ly cycle tours, you will mar­vel again and again at the diver­si­ty of the magni­fi­cent Alpi­ne foot­hills, crys­tal-clear rivers and lakes offer wel­co­me refresh­ment. Enjoy the flair of the Bava­ri­an Sea after your arrival.
Egg­stät­ter Seen­plat­te and Amerang

The Egg­stät­ter Seen­plat­te has 17 lakes, is full of pic­tures­que spots and is the oldest natu­re reser­ve in Bava­ria. Rela­xed cycle tour through forests, fra­grant mea­dows, past pret­ty farms to Höslwang with a magni­fi­cent pan­ora­ma of the Upper Bava­ri­an Alps. Exten­si­on to Ame­rang pos­si­ble. Via Egg­stätt and Breit­brunn back to Prien.

Today you will dis­co­ver the beau­ty of Lake Chiem­see and the pret­ty vil­la­ges along the way. Let yours­elf be enchan­ted by the uni­que natu­re and visit important sights such as the Roman Muse­um in See­bruck or the Hor­se Muse­um in Arlaching. You also have ple­nty of oppor­tu­ni­ty to swim and refresh yours­elf in the cool waters of Lake Chiemsee. 
Visit to Her­ren­in­sel and Frau­en­in­sel (boat trip wit­hout bike)

From Prien, a boat trip to the Her­ren­in­sel with the oppor­tu­ni­ty to visit King Lud­wig II’s famous Her­ren­chiem­see Cast­le. Return via the Frau­en­in­sel with its famous abbey, the oldest exis­ting Ger­man-spea­king con­vent north of the Alps. Dis­co­ver the beau­tiful gar­dens, the island pot­te­ries, fish smoke­hou­ses and roman­tic guest gar­dens direct­ly on the lake. 
Into the Achental

From Prien, first take the bus or train (on your own) to Über­see. The cycle tour takes you via the cli­ma­tic health resort of Gras­sau and then along the Achen­tal cycle path via Unter­wös­sen to Schleching. You cycle past colorful mea­dows and are sur­roun­ded by impres­si­ve moun­ta­ins. While the Tiro­ler Ache flows quiet­ly bes­i­de you, you cycle back to Gras­sau via Mar­quart­stein on well-main­tai­ned paths. Quiet, shady paths accom­pa­ny you through the Rottau­er Fil­ze (moor­land) to Ber­nau and along Lake Chiem­see you reach Prien again.

Today starts with an atmo­sphe­ric boat trip across Lake Chiem­see from Prien to See­bruck. Back on land, you cycle via Trucht­laching an der Alz to See­on Monas­tery with its famous monas­tery com­plex and the dre­a­my lake. In the pret­ty vil­la­ge of Gstadt, you will once again see the magi­cal blue of Lake Chiem­see and cycle back to your accom­mo­da­ti­on via Breit­brunn and Rimsting.

High­lights and sights
Won­derful accom­mo­da­ti­on forms the basis for your rela­xa­ti­on, while you explo­re Lake Chiem­see and the beau­tiful foot­hills of the Alps during the cycling stages. The Egg­stät­ter Seen­plat­te and the Tiro­ler Achen­tal are par­ti­cu­lar­ly picturesque. 
Tour cha­rac­ter
Most­ly easy cycling, with a few hil­ly sec­tions. Lon­ger stret­ches on well-main­tai­ned natu­ral paths, most­ly on cycle paths, farm tracks and side roads. Only short sec­tions on some­what busi­er roads. 
Other notes
To ensu­re a stress-free start to the trip, we recom­mend arri­ving at the start­ing point by ear­ly evening in most cases. Some tours start as ear­ly as mid­day, in which case we recom­mend arri­ving the day befo­re and will be hap­py to book an extra night for you at the same time. The indi­vi­du­al return jour­ney takes place on the last day of the tour. The kilo­me­ters are appro­xi­ma­te and may dif­fer from the actu­al kilo­me­ters cover­ed. This tour is not sui­ta­ble for peo­p­le with redu­ced mobility.

If a mini­mum num­ber of par­ti­ci­pan­ts is requi­red for the tour to take place, this is sta­ted under Pri­ces and ser­vices. If the mini­mum num­ber of par­ti­ci­pan­ts is not rea­ched, we reser­ve the right to can­cel the trip up to four weeks befo­re the date of arri­val. We recom­mend that you do not orga­ni­ze your arri­val and depar­tu­re until after this dead­line has passed.
