From the Schliersee district of Neuhaus, the route today takes you back to the Tegernsee valley via Spitzingsee and Sutten. Take in the wonderful views of the surrounding mountains on the Rosskopf before heading back down into the valley along the Sutten ski run.
Panoramic tour over Risserkogel and Wallberg
Distanz: 11 km Höhe (+): 1040m Höhe (-): 410m
Our transfer will take you to the Sutten area today. Past the impressive rock formations of the Blankenstein and above a small mountain lake, the route takes you up to the Risserkogel on beautiful paths, from where you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view. From there you return to the saddle (if you prefer, you can skip the summit and continue straight away) and over to the Wallberg with its magnificent views of the Tegernsee valley. The panorama restaurant invites you to stop for a bite to eat before taking the train down. Our transfer will take you back to your accommodation. If you don’t mind the climb, you can skip the two summit ascents and still enjoy a wonderfully varied hike.

Unfortunately, it’s time to say goodbye to the Tegernsee valley again today. If you still have time before your departure, you can look forward to another wonderful hike. The Riederstein (1207m) is one of the most famous peaks on Lake Tegernsee. Via numerous steps through the shady forest — past an impressive rock cave — you finally reach the highlight of the tour: a small chapel, which has been boldly built on the airy summit rock and invites you to take a special kind of break with a view.
