Explo­re the high­lights of the beau­tiful hiking regi­ons of Tegern­see, Schlier­see and Spit­zing­see from the com­fort of your accom­mo­da­ti­on. Expe­ri­ence the uni­que diver­si­ty of the­se regi­ons, from gent­le alpi­ne pas­tu­res to rug­ged peaks and vast flower mea­dows. Take delightful breaks at roman­tic lake­si­de mea­dows or in rustic huts. In this tour, we have com­bi­ned the most beau­tiful hikes into a sin­gle jour­ney for you — let yours­elf be inspi­red. You will be accom­pa­nied by breath­ta­king pan­ora­mas on every sin­gle hike, so bore­dom does­n’t stand a chan­ce. Our orga­ni­zed trans­fers will take you com­for­ta­b­ly to the start­ing point of your hikes on sel­ec­ted days to offer you maxi­mum com­fort. Itinerary / Stages

Day 1
Indi­vi­du­al arri­val at the Tegernsee
Distanz: 0 km Höhe (+): 0m Höhe (-): 0m
Plan your arri­val a litt­le ear­lier and immer­se yours­elf in the enchan­ting beau­ty of Lake Tegern­see, which shim­mers in various shades from light blue to emer­ald green to Carib­be­an tur­quoi­se. Tre­at yours­elf to a moment of plea­su­re under the sun with a deli­cious ice cream in one of the many cafés, stroll along the shore or take a refres­hing dip in the lake — Lake Tegern­see has some­thing for everyone. 
Day 2
High-alti­tu­de hike along Lake Tegernsee
Distanz: 7 km Höhe (+): 110m Höhe (-): 120m
The first stage of this trip is easy and ser­ves to accli­ma­ti­ze you. The focus for today is on enjoy­ment, pan­o­r­amic views and expe­ri­en­cing natu­re. Start your hike in Gmund and fol­low the Tegern­seer Höhen­weg to Tegern­see. After a rela­xing stop at the Bräu­st­überl, you have the opti­on of eit­her taking the boat or the bus to your accommodation. 
Day 3
Pan­o­r­amic tour from Kreuth to the Wallberg
Distanz: 9 km Höhe (+): 1010m Höhe (-): 220m
Our trans­fer will take you to the moun­tai­nee­ring vil­la­ge of Kreuth today. From the­re, you hike along varied paths past the Gru­ber­eck and then optio­nal­ly up the Setz­berg, which offers gre­at views, befo­re con­ti­nuing to the sum­mit of the Wall­berg. A pic­tures­que pan­ora­ma awaits you here, over­loo­king the enti­re Tegern­see val­ley. After a stop at the pan­ora­ma restau­rant, you can take the Wall­berg­bahn cable car down into the val­ley in com­fort. From the­re trans­fer back to the hotel.
Day 4
Rustic hut ambi­ence and rocky peaks
Distanz: 17 km Höhe (+): 780m Höhe (-): 780m
The rou­te leads you along an uncom­pli­ca­ted path to the char­ming Auer­alm, which is the per­fect place to stop for a bite to eat with its pan­o­r­amic sun ter­race. You then con­ti­nue your hike amidst the impres­si­ve moun­tain pan­ora­ma on a path to the rocky sum­mit of the Focken­stein. Here you have ple­nty of time to pau­se and enjoy the breath­ta­king view. After­wards, enjoy a rela­xing hike on a cir­cu­lar trail that takes you past the Auer­alm once again befo­re retur­ning to the valley. 
Day 5
On scenic paths from Schlier­see to Tegernsee
Distanz: 13 km Höhe (+): 540m Höhe (-): 600m
Today you will tra­vel to Schlier­see by trans­fer. From here, you embark on a hike via the Gin­del­al­men and Neu­reuth, which takes you back to Lake Tegern­see. During this hike, you will lite­ral­ly find yours­elf in the cen­ter of breath­ta­king views. First you enjoy the view of the Schlier­see regi­on, later of the Tegern­see val­ley. Bring your day of hiking to a rela­xed clo­se and return to your accom­mo­da­ti­on by boat or bus. 
Day 6
To the Rie­der­stein with its uni­que rock chapel
Distanz: 8 km Höhe (+): 460m Höhe (-): 460m
The Rie­der­stein (1207m) is one of the most striking peaks on Lake Tegern­see. On your way the­re, a net­work of steps leads you through a shady forest and past an impres­si­ve rock cave. Final­ly, you reach the high­light of the tour: a small cha­pel bold­ly erec­ted on the airy sum­mit rock, invi­ting you to take a par­ti­cu­lar­ly impres­si­ve break. 
Day 7
Pan­o­r­amic views from val­ley to val­ley over Spit­zing­see, Ross­kopf and Sutten
Distanz: 13 km Höhe (+): 820m Höhe (-): 670m
From the Schlier­see dis­trict of Neu­haus, the rou­te today takes you back to the Tegern­see val­ley via Spit­zing­see and Sut­ten. Take in the won­derful views of the sur­roun­ding moun­ta­ins on the Ross­kopf befo­re hea­ding back down into the val­ley along the Sut­ten ski run. 
Day 8

Distanz: 0 km Höhe (+): 0m Höhe (-): 0m
Today it’s time to say good­bye to Lake Tegern­see. We are hap­py to extend your stay.

Arri­val
By car: Coming from the north on the A8 to Holz­kir­chen and then via the B318 to the Tegern­see val­ley. From the south via Achen­see and the B181, then the B307 to Tegern­see. FLIGHT: The nea­rest inter­na­tio­nal air­ports are: Munich (approx. 85 km), Salz­burg (approx. 115 km), Inns­bruck (approx. 90 km). We are hap­py to orga­ni­ze your trans­fer from the air­port to your accom­mo­da­ti­on. TRAIN: To Munich and onward jour­ney with the BRB to Gmund or Tegern­see, bus or cab to the hotel. 
Tour cha­rac­ter
Modera­te­ly dif­fi­cult. Sure-foo­ted­ness and a good basic level of fit­ness are requi­red with wal­king times of over 6 hours in some places. The hikes are on good hiking trails and paths. Some of the sum­mits are slight­ly expo­sed, but the­re are no real­ly dan­ge­rous places. If in doubt, all sum­mits can be skipped. 
Other notes
To ensu­re a stress-free start to the trip, we recom­mend arri­ving at the start­ing point by ear­ly evening in most cases. Some tours start as ear­ly as mid­day, in which case we recom­mend arri­ving the day befo­re and will be hap­py to book an extra night for you at the same time. The indi­vi­du­al return jour­ney takes place on the last day of the tour. The kilo­me­ters are appro­xi­ma­te and may dif­fer from the actu­al kilo­me­ters cover­ed. This tour is not sui­ta­ble for peo­p­le with redu­ced mobility. 
Mini­mum num­ber of participants
If a mini­mum num­ber of par­ti­ci­pan­ts is requi­red for the tour to take place, this is sta­ted under Pri­ces and ser­vices. If the mini­mum num­ber of par­ti­ci­pan­ts is not rea­ched, we reser­ve the right to can­cel the trip up to four weeks befo­re the date of arri­val. We recom­mend that you do not orga­ni­ze your arri­val and depar­tu­re until after this dead­line has passed.
