Via Albula/Bernina — From Thusis to Tirano

from 1.563,- per person

The hiking trail runs along the Albula and Bernina lines of the Rhaetian Railway and offers enchanting views of a 120-year-old work of art in a magnificent Alpine landscape. Numerous bridges and spectacular viaducts blend harmoniously into the landscape and are rightly a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Highlights along the route include the Landwasser Viaduct, the glaciers of the Bernina Group and the descent into the Italian Valtellina.

Hiking through a true masterpiece of engineering. The mountain hiking trail to Preda follows the Albulauf and crosses the railroad line several times, which has the most daring alignment in this section. The Railway Experience Trail explains this century-old railroad engineering feat. After Preda, the mountain hiking trail leads past the crystal-clear Lake Palpuogna via Alp Weissenstein or Crap Alv to Fuorcla Crap Alv and steeply down into Val Bever to idyllic Spinas.
