Wild­stru­bel round tour with lug­ga­ge transfer

The Wild­stru­bel Mas­sif towers defi­ant­ly into the sky, sepa­ra­ting the Ber­ne­se Ober­land from the Valais. But this moun­tain ran­ge can be con­que­r­ed. The rock face you’ll climb on the sou­thern side of the Alps near Leu­ker­bad is near­ly 800 meters high, lea­ding up to the Gem­mi Pass. Here, the gate­way to the Ber­ne­se Ober­land opens up. Quaint cha­lets, idyl­lic green alpi­ne mea­dows, and char­ming vil­la­ges await you. But crossing the nor­t­hern side of the Alps is also chal­len­ging. A long hike over the Rawil Pass takes you to Lac de Tzeu­zier. The peaks of the Valais four-thousan­ders are reflec­ted in the water, and you’ll des­cend to Crans-Mon­ta­na along spec­ta­cu­lar irri­ga­ti­on chan­nels car­ved into the rock. The Wild­stru­bel sepa­ra­tes two of the most beau­tiful regi­ons of the Swiss Alps—this hike con­nects both worlds.
