Wildstrubel round tour with luggage transfer

Price on request

The Wildstrubel massif towers defiantly into the sky and separates the Bernese Oberland from the Valais. But this mountain range can be conquered. The rock face that you climb through on the southern side of the Alps near Leukerbad to reach the Gemmi Pass is almost 800 meters high. This is the gateway to the Bernese Oberland. Pretty chalets, idyllic green alpine meadows and charming villages await you. But crossing the northern side of the Alps is also challenging. A long hike over the Rawil Pass takes you to Lac de Tzeuzier. The peaks of the Valais four-thousand-metre peaks are reflected in the water and you descend to Crans-Montana along spectacular irrigation channels carved into the rock. The Wildstrubel separates two of the most beautiful areas in the Swiss Alps and this hike connects the two worlds.

Itinerary / Stages

Day 1
Individual arrival in Crans-Montana
Distanz: 0 km Höhe (+): 0m Höhe (-): 0m
The sunny plateau high above the Rhone valley is the starting point for the tour around the Wildstrubel. The alpine panorama sets the mood for the days ahead.
Day 2
Crans-Montana — Leukerbad
Distanz: 23 km Höhe (+): 730m Höhe (-): 845m
A steep ascent to Bisse de Tsittoret, followed by a fantastic hike to Leukerbad. You can stop off at the Cave du Sex on the way. Views of the snow-covered peaks of the Valais four-thousand-metre peaks sweeten the long stage to Leukerbad. In the evening, you can relax in the thermal baths.
Day 3
Leukerbad — Kandersteg
Distanz: 21 km Höhe (+): 1020m Höhe (-): 1230m
For a long time, the rock face above Leukerbad was considered insurmountable until a path was blasted up to the Gemmi Pass in 1739. The route developed into one of the most important mule tracks in the Alps. Even today, the tour up the Gemmi is an absolute highlight. Once you reach the top, a fantastic panorama and a long descent into the Bernese Oberland await you.
Day 4
Kandersteg — Adelboden
Distanz: 16 km Höhe (+): 1270m Höhe (-): 1100m
The ascent to the Bunderspitz is a tough one. However, the descent down to Adelboden is no less demanding and is also a real slog. A marching song provides entertainment on the way: “If only I knew where sVogellisi was”.
Day 5
Adelboden — Lenk
Distanz: 18 km Höhe (+): 910m Höhe (-): 1190m
You start by hiking along the Via Alpina to Silleren, where you have the option of taking the cable car to Sillerebüel. You then continue on to the Hahnenmoospass. The Simmental is considered one of the most beautiful mountain valleys in Switzerland and is the official home of the Wildstrubel. It rises majestically at the end of the valley.
Day 6
Lenk — Crans-Montana
Distanz: 23 km Höhe (+): 1190m Höhe (-): 1280m
Bus ride with Taxi-Alpin to Iffigenalp. This is followed by an ascent of almost 1000 meters to the Rawil Pass. Cross the cantonal border back into Valais and pass the impressive dam wall of Lac de Tseuzier. The Bisse du Ro is an adventurous highlight at the end of the hike.
Day 7
