Fresh­ly fal­len snow adorns the popu­lar hiking regi­on of Tegern­see Val­ley and makes mea­dows, forests and the idyl­lic lake spark­le! Hike through idyl­lic mea­dow land­scapes, along fan­ta­stic pan­o­r­amic high-alti­tu­de trails and up the moun­ta­ins with the best views around the lake. Bava­ri­an deli­ca­ci­es await you in the moun­tain huts. With snow crun­ching under your boots, you cover around 10 km a day with litt­le dif­fe­rence in alti­tu­de — per­fect for almost any wea­ther. After many incre­di­bly scenic tours, you can enjoy a mull­ed wine by the roman­tic, shim­me­ring lake in the evening. On the tour, you can also expe­ri­ence regio­nal food pro­duc­tion with a visit to the ducal fish farm and the Tegern­seer Land natu­ral cheese dairy. You start direct­ly from your accom­mo­da­ti­on on foot, by bus or car and some­ti­mes with our transfers.

Arri­ve a litt­le ear­lier and enjoy the win­ter flair on Lake Tegern­see. Let the win­ter sun shi­ne on your face with a warm­ing mull­ed wine, wrap­ped up in one of the many cafés right by the water. 
A bir­d’s eye view of the win­try Tegern­see valley
Distanz: 7 km Höhe (+): 120m Höhe (-): 120m
The first stage is ide­al for accli­ma­tiza­ti­on and incre­di­bly scenic at the same time. Indi­vi­du­al arri­val by bus or boat to Gmund. Now you walk along the beach pro­me­na­de with a fan­ta­stic view of Lake Tegern­see. You then climb up to the famous Höhen­weg trail, which leads you to Tegern­see with fan­ta­stic views of the Tegern­see val­ley. The­re, Bava­ri­an spe­cial­ties await you in the famous Bräu­st­überl, natu­ral­ly with a view of the lake and cast­le back­drop. Bring the day to a lei­su­re­ly clo­se and return to your accom­mo­da­ti­on by bus or boat. 
Snow-cover­ed Auer­alm tour in the face of the sur­roun­ding sum­mit world

Today you start from Bad Wies­see and hike via the Söll­bach­tal val­ley to the rustic Auer­alm hut. The­re you are sur­roun­ded by hig­her peaks and enjoy the peaceful moun­tain atmo­sphe­re. After this spor­ty tour, you will have well and tru­ly ear­ned a snack and, having regai­ned your strength, return to the val­ley via a cir­cu­lar rou­te. You can return to your accom­mo­da­ti­on on foot, by bus or boat. 
From the ducal fish farm Wild­bad Kreuth through the natu­ral para­di­se of the Weiß­ach floodplains

Lea­ve ever­y­day life behind you and immer­se yours­elf in a tran­quil win­ter won­der­land of glis­tening snow, quiet forest paths and an icy river with ici­c­les spar­k­ling in the sun. After the mor­ning trans­fer, you start your hike at the Sie­ben­hüt­ten par­king lot. The trail first takes you past the ducal fish farm and the Hanns Seidl Foun­da­ti­on, which is stee­ped in histo­ry. The Weiß­ach then accom­pa­nies you down­stream through the idyl­lic Weiß­ach flood­plains. If you like, you can take a detour to the Tegern­seer Land natu­ral cheese dairy — a place to lin­ger, tas­te and dis­co­ver: regio­nal spe­cial­ties, home­ma­de cakes and, if you wish, a gui­ded tour of the cheese dairy await you.

Dis­co­ver the Tegern­see val­ley on your own today — we sug­gest: A lei­su­re­ly stroll through chic Rot­tach-Egern with its exclu­si­ve bou­ti­ques. A hor­se-drawn car­ria­ge ride across the snow-cover­ed mea­dows and mea­dows. A boat trip on the Tegern­see. Relax in our new iod­i­ne-sulp­hur bath in Bad Wies­see or in the Tegern­see lake sau­na. A gon­do­la ride up the Wall­berg with downhill win­ter tobog­ga­ning fun or a snow­shoe hike.
Up the mys­ti­cal Rie­der­stein with its impres­si­ve rock chapel

The trail clim­bs stee­p­ly uphill on a well-main­tai­ned hiking trail. Gre­at views of the lake are a con­stant sur­pri­se along the way. Once you arri­ve at the Galaun inn, you fol­low an idyl­lic stair­way to the Rie­der­stein with one of the most beau­tiful views of Lake Tegern­see. The free-stan­ding cha­pel on a rocky out­crop is a par­ti­cu­lar­ly fasci­na­ting place to take a break. On the way back, you can stop off at Gast­hof Galaun befo­re con­ti­nuing on a cir­cu­lar rou­te through woods, mea­dows and a beau­tiful view­point to the cen­ter of Tegern­see, whe­re you have ear­ned a hear­ty snack and a good Tegern­see beer in the Her­zog­li­ches Bräustüberl. 
Won­derful pan­o­r­amic trail from Bad Wies­see to Gmund
Distanz: 7 km Höhe (+): 80m Höhe (-): 160m
We round off your eventful week with a lei­su­re­ly tour — today you hike the wes­tern side of Lake Tegern­see. A trans­fer will take you to the start­ing point of the hike. On the varied high-level trail, you cross forests and mea­dows and expe­ri­ence spec­ta­cu­lar views of the lake and the val­ley time and again. At the end, the trail takes you to the nor­t­hern­most point of Lake Tegern­see — the Kal­ten­brunn estate with its tra­di­tio­nal inn as the crow­ning glo­ry of your acti­ve week. Our shut­tle will then take you to your accommodation.

BY CAR: FROM THE NORTH: Take the A8 Munich-Salz­burg high­way to the Holz­kir­chen exit and then the B318/B307 to Tegern­see. FROM THE SOUTH: Eit­her via the Inn Val­ley, the Achen Pass and the B307 or the Inn Val­ley high­way, the A8 Munich-Salz­burg high­way, to the Irschen­berg exit. Con­ti­nue via the B472 and B318 to Tegern­see. Air­plane: Munich — Salz­burg — Inns­bruck Train: From Munich main sta­ti­on take the BRB to Gmund or Tegern­see, bus or cab to the hotel.
