Winter hiking in the Isarwinkel and Blue Land

from 848,- per person

Welcome to the winter landscape in two of the most beautiful foothills of the Alps in southern Bavaria! You will spend the first part of your winter hiking tour in Bad Tölz directly on the Isar. Tölz’s local mountain awaits you with a fun toboggan ride and a stop for Bavarian delicacies. A mystical and cozy circular hike around the boggy Kirchsee lake — look forward to a truly picture-book landscape followed by a stop at the Klosterbräustüberl with mountain views! If you are out and about during the Advent season, you will be delighted by the famous Tölz Christmas market in the old town and can experience one culinary highlight after another. After a few days, you will hike along a mountain trail to Kochel am See and immerse yourself in another very popular hiking region. A very special highlight awaits you here, snow conditions permitting: The hike up the Jochberg. From here, you will be amazed by the magnificent views of two lakes: Lake Kochel and Lake Walchensee. In the evening, relax in the Kristall Therme Trimini. The highlight here is the panoramic sauna with a fantastic view of the wintry lake and the smell of cinnamon and orange in the air. Look forward to a week of alternating activity and relaxation.

Today you can look forward to magnificent views of the Isarwinkel and, if there is enough snow, sledging fun on the perfectly groomed natural toboggan run. At the Blomberghaus you can enjoy Bavarian delicacies and hot drinks to warm you up.
Picturesque moorland experience at Kirchsee
Distanz: 14 km Höhe (+): 150m Höhe (-): 90m
The Kirchsee is a true hidden gem in the Tölz region. Regardless of the weather, the moorland lake surprises with its magical, enchanted atmosphere and invites you to linger. Hike across wide, hilly fields from Tölz through the Kirchseemoor to the Kirchsee. Finally, the famous Klosterbräustüberl Reutberg awaits you with the best Bavarian cuisine and a fantastic view of the surrounding meadows and mountains. The bus takes you to the famous Kesselberg between Kochelsee and Walchensee. From here you start today’s mountain tour to the Jochberg. Compared to the other hikes, it may be strenuous at first, but the effort is well worth it. On the way up, you can enjoy views of Lake Kochelsee time and again. Once you reach the top, you even have an incredible 360-degree view of Walchensee, Kochelsee and, with a bit of luck, as far as Munich. It is no wonder that artists such as Franz Marc used nature as a model for their canvases. To round off your trip, we recommend a visit to the Kristall Therme directly on Lake Kochelsee. Water and sauna lovers alike will get their money’s worth here. With the pleasant scent of orange in your nose, you can relax in the panoramic sauna and gaze out over the wintry Kochelsee.
