The stages of the Upper Swabia-Allgäu cycle path lead from Ulm through Ochsenhausen, Wangen i.A., Aulendorf and Bad Buchau back to Ulm. Those interested in culture will enjoy the many sights. You can spend some enjoyable hours in the restaurants and inns with Swabian cuisine, in the small cheese dairies in the Allgäu and in the many local, traditional breweries, museums and much more.

On this tour, you combine the Lake Constance Cycle Path with the Danube Cycle Path! You follow the well-signposted route through Upper Swabia for approx. 156 km. You start in Ulm, where you can marvel at the typical half-timbered houses, as well as many sights and museums.
Then continue south on good tarred roads, through the Bad Waldsee mud spa and past the three-storey Kißlegg Castle. In the beautiful Allgäu town of Wangen, you will be greeted by painted towers, fountains and baroque facades. The town is also famous for its traditional weekly market. At the end of your journey, the route takes you through idyllic orchards towards your destination — Lake Constance.
