What are some spe­cial excur­si­on desti­na­ti­ons on Lake Tegernsee? 

A vaca­ti­on at Lake Tegern­see is also a gre­at start­ing point for num­e­rous excur­si­ons in the sur­roun­ding area. The sta­te capi­tal of Munich and Lake Chiem­see are just under an hour away by car or train. And the Schlier­see and Spit­zing­see lakes can be rea­ched by car in just a few minu­tes and offer num­e­rous other hiking oppor­tu­ni­ties. You can also visit the Mar­kus Was­mei­er open-air muse­um in Schlier­see and plan a roman­tic boat trip on Lake Tegern­see. The Syl­ven­stein­stau­see and Achen­see are also wort­hwhile excur­si­ons with num­e­rous hikes in the sur­roun­ding area. So the­re are ple­nty of reasons to extend your boo­king by a few days.
