Who is the “Water cycle routes” cycle tour suitable for?
The various loops of the water cycle paths go right across Bavaria with moderate stage lengths. A total of around 1200 kilometers are covered by the long-distance cycle path, which extends over various loops throughout Upper Bavaria. The sub-routes make the regional characteristics their own: In the north, the cycle path is characterized by hops and beer, in the southeast the focus is on salt and in the southwest on art and culture. The central starting point for all tours is the state capital of Munich. But no matter which cycle loop you are on, water is a constant companion.
Mostly asphalted roads, cycle paths and farm tracks (gravel) as well as side roads with little traffic and local thoroughfares.
